It will not print it at all!!!!!! I have a HP PSC 2355 All-in-one printer, which has been operating excelent. Why do I have to pay when I have bought your product and can not get it work. That is insane. I wish I did not have to use your product at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi there. My name is Rob. I understand your frustration and I would like to help you.

First, I guess you have used this printer before on this computer right? If not, let's go to the control panel and see if your computer sees the printer. Do this:
Go to the Start button. Find control panel and click on it.
In the nex box, find the Printers icon and double click on it.
Can you see your printer listed? If not turn your printer off, and disconnect it from the computer.
Restart your computer and connect the printer again. THEN turn on your printer.
Go back to step 1 and repeat and see if it recognizes the printer.

If you have not used this printer on this computer before, you will need to install the printer drivers.
Unplug the printer from the computer and put in the disk that came with the printer and install the software and the drivers. When your done, make sure the printer is off, then reconnect it to the pc, and turn the printer on. It should find it.

If you don't have the disk that came with the printer, then disconnect your printer and go here:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=mp-47767-1&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=422000&os=2100&lang=en

Click the blue download button. Install the software package. When your done, reconnect your printer and turn it on.
Now you should see it when you go to control panel/printers.

Let me know if that helps. You can leave me a comment and I will answer any questions you might have.

Rob

I could not upgrade neither windows XP, Windows 7 of this Product Model: GT5662. Would you assits? Thanks.

Hello kelvinvu, according to the information that I gathered from this computer model, it has Windows Vista 32 bit home premium installed on it. Windows XP is an older operating system so you can't "upgrade" to it. You could however install a fresh copy (more likely completely erasing all your previous information on vista and data files) or you could upgrade to Windows 7. Since you are using "Windows Vista 32 bit home premium", you have to upgrade to "Windows 7 32 bit home premium" or better. So if you were trying to "upgrade" to Windows 7 Home Basic, it will not allow that since it considers that a downgrade in the Operating System. You should actually be able to pop in the Windows 7 Home Premium CD while vista is running and start the upgrade process pretty painlessly that way. Just access the CD and walk through the menus for upgrading Vista to Windows 7. As a reminder, you must use the 32 bit discs. If you try and use the 64 bit discs (a different operating system as far as windows is concerned) you will have to go through the same process of installing a new version of windows (not upgrade). I hope this has solved your specific problem kelvinvu, have a great day!

This computer is 32 bits or 64 bits ?

If the system is "As Was", the operating system installed is Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic i.e. 32 bit in your case.
If you wanna know how to find out the bit version of your system, follow the simple steps below:
Start > Run (or Windows Key + R) and type in "msinfo32.exe" [without quotation], wait for few seconds, a new window with the name "System Information" will open, by default the "system summary" will be displayed once it's opened, now on the right pane, look at the lists available and locate "System Type" (as shown below), look at the corresponding value, if it starts with "x86..." then the system is 32 bit and if it starts with "x64..." then the system is 64 bit.

Hope this helps.
Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

How do i run a 32 bit browser on a 64 bit system? windows vista home premium.

There is no special procedure for running the browser (or any other 32 bit program). If you're having a problem with a particular browser, which one and what is the trouble?

Do you have the 64 bit Vista, or just a 64 bit processor? The former is relatively uncommon, the latter is the norm these days.

Please give me the name of a printer that WORKS with writing checks in Quicken using Windows Vista 64. My HP all in one does not - printer jams every time.

HP will work. The jam is a paper problem not a hardware or software issue. Try line feeds without printing. HP also makes the best printer paper so don't skimp on that. Moisture in the paper is the most common paper jam problem aside from debris getting into the rollers. If line feed fails then physically inspect the whole paper path. I have Canon, Epson, Dell, HP and Lexmark printers with Quickbooks Pro. They all work. Paper is your problem barring a banana falling into the rollers. Never leave paper in a printer for a long time as it will stick to itself. Steve

I purchased Quicken 2008. After opening, it crashes right away. What is the cause?

You can check your Windows logs or Quicken forums to find out about that first, then ask here once you've done the basic legwork. I can't help but notice you've caled it an Acer PC Desktop problem but that you've somehow focused in on Quicken 2008; No.

Read the system requirements on Quicken 2008; odds of fuzzy bagels to uneaten lox say your PC doesn't meet them.
