Truck wont start, it was running and will not restart. checked all fuses and relays all good, checked intake also good. Checked high pressure injection pump and is turning, Acts like it wants to start and dark smoke pushing out under hood. exhaust pipe free and clear. Please help this vet and many thanks. Brad
It turns but it wont start. I put starting fuel in it and it almost starts it just shuts off
Sounds like it has too do with the glow plugs, and the Glow plug timer

have you bled it and made sure your getting fuel to injectors if there okay check make sure heater plugs working if fitted

Did you check the inertia switch which cuts of current in case of accident.

Try a new relay first. This may not be good news if that does not work. If you can find the EEC (computer) and unplug it, then replace the fuse-if it blows you have another cheaper part on the circuit thats bad.
If the fuse does not blow, then the EEC must be shorted.
If you have to replace the EEC you may find a kindly dealer with a cash-for-clunker sitting there to violate. Salvage yards have them, Ebay sells them. I have seen them at swap meets for $20. They are a high price part even rebuilt at Dealers or autoparts stores.

motor has probly failed-n hav it inspected n electrically tested-a repair manual is very helpful-may want to do code scan to confirm
