Since u have dropped it in a liquid, u shd have the entire thing dismantled and cleaned and then try it, for which u need to have gud care to do it.

Ipod touch 16g got wet touch screen not working

Put it in a bag of uncooked rice. Leave it there for a few days. This will hopefully dry it out. If not, you'll need to have it taken apart to clean and reseat cables.

I got my ipod touch wet with water, an my touch screen stopped working.then i blew in it where u charge it an te screen turned white so i let it dry an now the touchscreen wont work an its like really...

Throw it in a bag of white rice for a 5 days. Restaurants use it in their salt shakers to absorb moisture.

Apple won't replace units damaged by water, but theres a guy on You Tube that will show you ways to defeat the system so you can trade in your ipod under warranty for a new one.

My daughter dropped her 8gb itouch in a cup of tea. Tried to dry it immediately and screen was on but dim. Next day won't come on at all. Is it fried?

try filling a bag with rice and placing the ipod in it overnight. should draw out moisture. if doesnt work after that then its fried and should contact manufacturer for warranty info to get a new one

Itouch fell into a puddle of water, was working for a few minute and then it shut off

Put it in a zip locked bag of rice over night. Don't shake or jostle the bag, just leave it sitting on the bag with the device buried in the rice. After the rice "bath", if the device does not come back to life, connect it to your PC and see if it will at least give you the chance to do a backup.

My ipod nano went throught the washer. the music works and my itunes recognizes it. but the screen doenst work at all and i cant see anything. music plays on headphones.. just no screen

You'll want to leave it off. This next part sounds weird but it does work sometimes. I learned it while working at RadioShack. Basically, you can just put it in a bag of rice, charging port facing down, and place this bag in the refrigerator for about 4-5 days. The rice absorbs water and it sounds a little crazy but it works about 70% of the time.

Hope this helps :)

Wet ipod

DO NOT turn it on, it will short circuit extremely sensitive circuitry inside your iTouch turning into a useless paperweight! Get a tupperware type of container big enough to put your iPod in and completely immerse it in DRY rice and seal it in there for at least a couple of days. The rice will absorb any and all moisture inside the container as well as inside your iPod. Online there is a place called Rapid Repair that specializes in iPod repairs. They will run a free diagnostic on your iTouch and tell you if it survived. Their web address is http://www.rapidrepair.com/. I hope that helps

Wet iTouch kixed then infixed

Your very lucky, let it dry out for the rest of the week and purchase a new battery.
or take it to a tech and have the battery changed.
it sounds like you may get away with a new battery.

I dropped my ipod touch in the sink and it now it doesn't work

to fix this, you're going to need your ipod, a plastic zip-lock bag, and uncooked rice. first, open the bag and fill it halfway with uncooked rice. then put your ipod in the middle of it all. then zip the bag and let it sit for about a day. the rice should have absorbed all the water by then. most of the times, this will work. but sometimes, the ipod is damaged beyond repair by the water. good luck
hope this helps ;-)

I pod got wet wont work

Ipon the ipods case up. then Put the ipod in a zip lock bag full of uncooked raw white rice. seal the bag and leave it in there for 2 days. rice absorbs water. it should dry it up.
dont try to plug the ipod in or it will fry the circuit and you will destroy it.
If you need to know how to open an ipod case go to my website.
