Envelopes wrinkles after running through printer

Using Konica Minolta magicolor 4750DN When printing #10 self sealing envelopes, envelopes come out wrinkled. Envelopes have a protective strip over seal. Have tried heavy paper weight option and that didn't seem to help.

Minolta does recommend stuffing the lip inside the envelope before running. But I think it only helps with jamming. Plus high humidity can cause wrinkling.

SOURCE: Envelopes all come out of the printer wrinkled

Open the back of the printer. You will see 2 little blue levers on either side. Put them in the opposite direction, that is, if they are up, snap them down. I dont know the mechanics of this, but it worked for me.

When I print enveloppes with my Konica 2430DL, I get shadows, but not on other print jobs

When you look at an envelope, it has spots where there are 2 to 4 thickness of paper in spots.( folds of the envelope) If this is where your shadows are, and your printer does not have any settings for envelopes, your printer may not be able to print those types of envelpes. You might try a lighter and thiner envelope.

How to print #10 Envelopes

How to copy/print onto envelopes.
Solution
Konica Minolta does not recommend copying/printing onto envelopes, asthe MFPwas not designed to run envelopes. Additionally, envelopes do not meet the
standards set for paper specifications. Their multi-layer make-up, adhesive, and odd size make it unreliable and potently damaging to the MFP.
