Question about Nintendo Rock Band for Wii

Hacked Wii have something to do with guitar + drums not syncing?

This is the story:

I hacked my wii using the twilight hack and downgraded to 3.2U.

Next i decided to play sum Rock Band and it said i needed an update so i did (i know that was dumb) and then I happily enjoyed the game for the rest of the day. (oh ya and i broke my foot pedal that day)

About a week later without touching the wii I decided to play rockband again but WTF? the guitar wasnt syncing. So after like 5 minutes of pressing the little connection buttons, plugging in and out the thingies and restarting the game, i went to change the batteries.

Came back and its still not working, so im like 'fudge this, im guna downgrade my wii again'.

I downgraded to 2.2U this time and then yet again had the urge to play sum more rockband. So I put in the disc but this time, instead of stupidly updated my wii's firmware to play the game, i used a program on the homebrew channel that i downloaded to my SD card called backup launcher to launch the game without updating.

The game started but my guitar wasnt syncing still.... I decided to try my drums that have a broken foot pedal for the hell of it but WTF? my drums werent connecting either???

So now im stuck with:

-A hacked Wii on 2.2U firmware

-Guitar that lights up the clear button when its on but doesnt sync

-Broken drums that light up the clear button when they're on but dont sync

-A huge urge of wanting to rock out on Rock Band

Plz help... i don't think hacking the wii would make a difference cuz i played Rock Band fine at first with the hacked 3.2U firmware but i dont really know, i need help.

You might need to just start over with the hombrew channel etc. Here's a good guide

DO YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE USB PLUG FOR THE ROCKBAND DRUMS FOR THE WII AND HOW DO YOU SYNC IT TO THE WII?

Yes, you do need to use USB for rockband drums for wii, but i don't know how to sync the drums, if they're wireless, if it's a wired set, just plug it in the back of the console, i know how to sync a wireless guitar, on the part you plug into the wii, there should be a tiny white button, and the guitar should have a white button on it, push both buttons at the same time (make sure that thee guitar has batteries and the other is in the wii), if done correctly you should be able to play, if the wireless drums work like that too, than i hope this info helped.

if you have hacked your wii or modded it in some form it may give a warning even when you are using a purchased game... if you haven't modded or hacked it then it maybe a factory reset may fix your problem

I have the drums hooked up correctly but i cant get it to sync w/ wii. what do i do

Your wii remote should be synced to the console right? Then the conrtoller fits in the drums. Thats how guitar hero drums work.

I have guitar hero rock band set and bought rock band. The guitar an drums are set up on wireless how do you sync them to work with this game?

look on the instruments for a red button. press this button at the same time you press the red button on the front of your wii console. this should sync the system to the controllers. (the guitar should already be synced since you plug the wii remote into it, but do it anyway)

I just need to sync the drums-what are the proper steps and even though the compatability chart shows the rockband 2 drums compatible with the guitar hero world tour game-is it right?--just want to...

no console should be on first then sync the drums with the wii. you should get a automatic connection within 5-10 seconds, then your ready to play.

Do I need more than one Wii remote for Band hero Wii????

you need a wii remote for each instrument and the microphone. you need one remote for the drums, one for the bass guitar player, one for the guitar, and one in close proximity to the microphone user. you have to set a wii remote near the microphone once the microphone is plugged into the USB port in the back of the wii console. i think there is something like a 10 foot radius meaning if the wii remote is too far from the microphone it will disconnect. so you can do only one instrument per wii remote you are using.

Rock band guitar will not sync to wii

For me it was the white box that connects to the back of the wii. I tried everything from changing batteries in the guitar, to pressing white button on guitar, to restarting while holding white button down to screaming at the wii. Then I bought a new rockband guitar at best buy and the new guitar did not work until I swapped the white box (dongle?) that connects to the back of the Wii. One is for the drums and the other is for the guitars and mic. Hope this helps.
