Question about Acer Aspire 9410-4317 Notebook
A inexpert technician added a setup password, to my laptop and my windows is not running, so when I press F2 and I go to the Bios or Setup, a password is requested. And I can not acces to the system recovery and either to insert a cd because doesn't boot from the cd
My laptop is an ACER Aspire 9410
The best way to this is to reset the cmos on the motherboard of the Laptop. This will reset the bios password.
To do this unplug all power from the unit and remove the battery. Remove the cover from the laptop so the motherbard is exposed. Look for the cmos battery (about the size of a nickel) and remove the battery for about 30 mins and then replace. Reassemble your laptop and you should be good to go.
