Question about Car Audio & Video
Have a problem that the car stereo just shuts down, un plug fuse and the stereo starts and plays normal, the last time it happened, pulled the fuse, and reinserted it, came up with "code off"," all off," and the time comes on , not able to turn stereo on or adjust time on clock, never activated the security code feature on the radio, i hope thats not it
You have it wired wrong. With the fuse out it is like disconnecting the wire, thus removing the fault. Be glad it is shutting down. It is protecting itself from damage and electrical overstress. Trace the wire, my guess is it is a power wire that is grounding. Check all of your wiring again.
