Question about Dell A215 Computer Speakers

No sound from speakers

I had to have my Dell desktop 3000 completely whipped clean because of an internet explorer problem. I have downloaded all updated drivers for sound and still nothing. I tried everything for sound in the control panel too. My cables are all secure. This is driving me nuts does anyone have any suggesting for me I would really appreciate any help, thank you for listening.

Sometime the simplest thing are over looked check the mute, the nobs on the speakers, or when you downloaded the drivers did you open or run them

My dell dimension 3000 makes cracking sounds when i play music


Check your speakers first. Plug the cable from your speakers into a cell phone, ipod or some other music device that has headphone port. If the speakers are crackling then, then you know it's the speakers. If not, then it's a computer issue in which case you might want to contact Dell.

How to install internet explorer to dell 620 i mean from which website?and also i have downloaded from google.com but it is not working in the aforenamed computer


Try uninstalling your current Internet Explorer and then reboot your Dell, then download Internet Exploter 8 and install.

Have tried two different types of speakers w/my Dell Dimension 3000? Neither produces any sound despite following the instructions to the letter?


GO TO DELL WEB SITE AND DOWNLOAD THE SOUND DRIVERS FOR YOUR COMPUTER USING THE SERVICE TAG NUMBER FROM THE STICKER ON THE SIDE OR BACK OF YOUR COMPUTER. INSTALL THE DRIVERS AND REBOOT.

Are you sure that your pc is not infected with a virus? Try updating your antivirus and doing a complete system scan after the update.

Make sure the firewall is not blocking access to the internet. Try turning off the firewall for a while... to test if that is the problem.

My computer won't let me install anything and says the Windows Installer can't be found. I don't have the original installation disks.. help!


It sounds like you have a corrupt Windows installer. You shouldnt need the installation disks. Open Internet Explorer and click on Tools>Windows Update
If Windows installer is not one of the recommended downloads, then search the Windows support site for "download Windows installer".

I am assuming you are running Windows XP?

Download the Drivers for the audio.
go to Support.dell.com website and  enter your service tag and download the right drivers for your computer.
