Question about Linksys Wireless-G WRT54GS Router (e125894)
The router has been in use for almost two months and has been working fine things started acting up last week so today the provider has came and checked their equipment and it is operating properly.when the problem began I could reset by unpluging power and it would work again,but now the only way I can get connected is to disconnect the router and connect the cable directly into the computer. The network shows that the router is connected through the computer that is hard wired through the router,but will not connect to net and the laptop will not connect either unless I bypass router and connect directly with the cable fom my dsl provider
Check to fix with the router's warranty.
Somethings that you could try yourselves are:
- Disconnect the router and power it down. wait for 30 secs and switch it on.
- Go into the router settings and change the transmitting channel to either 1,6 or 11.
These steps are to avoid air traffic congestions.
