My computer has a virus I can't remove

My computer frequently goes to a blue screen that says dumping all physical memory. It will not run a virus scan without crashing. It has recently starting flashing a message that says a breaking point has been reached. My internet browsers (mozilla, internet explorer) have stopped functioning.

Try and boot into windows safe mode by pressing the F8 key before windows loads and then try running the browser and check if it crashes. Perform the same process by scanning with an anti virus and see what happens. You might have two problems, either the RAM the actual memory is bust or something in the OS has gone really wrong and got the OS unstable. Try the safe mode test to confirm.

providing the actual dump message will greatly increase the chances of a correct diagnostic of the problem. (yes the message actually tells us why it goes to physical mem dump) other than that i'd check the fans and fins for dust buildup (causes overheating)

Refer to this article on the Blue Screen of Death. It's probably not a virus just faulty hardware. Disable the automatic reboot option to write down the Error Code. Once you have the Error Code written down do a google search for the code and someone on the web will have the answer. I can't really help you because I don't know the Error Code. Just read the article and the wonderful people at lifehacker.com will steer you in the right direction:

Welcome to Fixya, it's damnor01 here your computer Expert.

Your computer is dumping memory. This is refered to the the Blue Screen Of Death or BSOD for short.
It is not a good thing it is bad.

It usually happens because of too much heat.

In other words your computer is getting too hot. Clean the computer of all dust, dust reduces airflow through the heatsinks and therefore your computer operates at a high temperature.
Install as many fans as your computer chassis will allow.
Ensure that your Virus scanner is up to date and perform a virus/anti-malware scan, as viruses stress the computer system unnecessarily.

Cooling is very important!

Thanking you very much!

Memory dump

There are essentially two major causes of the physical memory dump screen: Running way to many programs at once, errors in the Windows registry. The first cause can be fixed rather easily. Simply run fewer programs or purchase additional RAM or processor upgrades. Your computer is running past its specified limits. But keep in mind the blue screen of
death should happen very infrequently. If you see the physical memory dump blue screen more often then the problem is errors in the Windows registry. This is a more abit of a harder problem to deal with. The registry is the most important component of your computer. The registry contains settings and information to run all software and hardware on the computers. When there are errors in the registry it disrupts the computers ability to communicate. When the system cannot compute, it freezes up and displays the Windows blue screen.
I found a registry cleaner that is free and works rather well. It is named cCleaner, has been around for some time and did I mention FREE...Download it from thelink below run it should clean up your registry...where good men fear to tread.

good luck, please leave a rating...thank you
