Question about HP Pavilion dv2000t Notebook
EVery time I disconnect the power cord from the laptop, the screen goes grey. It works fine when I have it plugged in, but cannot use it as a portable computer due to this problem. Any ideas? Is it the battery?
Check the LEDs located on the battery, if they don't light sequencely or make some blinks, your laptop is having a battery issue. If everything is OK with the battery then the problem is in the leads of the motherboard that make contact with the battery or in the circuits that manage the power of the battery, located in the motherboard.
