Question about Fuji FinePix S3000 Digital Camera

I bought a Fugifilm FinePix J110w in November. It won't upload

I bought a Fugifilm FinePix J110w in November. It uploaded to my computer several times but after Christmas it wouldn't upload anymore pictures. I called Fugi and they thought it might be my cable. I tried it on my granddaughters cable..she has a Kodac and it still wouldn't work. Fugi says I need their cable but they don't have any in stock. I just don't think the cord is the problem.

Try updating the software to upload your pictures, or get a sd flash card reader.

E900 wont upload pictures to my PC

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use Windows Photo Gallery or any other photo cataloging program.

Consider NOT using the USB cord. Your computer has a USB port so it can use a card reader.

My computer doesn't detect my finepix s602zoom

I have not had this problem, but I always use a card reader to upload my photos.
It saves on wear and tear on the small usb socket on the side of the camera. I can't see any reason to use a cable if all I need is to upload photos.

Can't upload videos?!

You need to have Quicktime 7.0 because the files are saved as a MPEG4. Go to Apple's website and download and install the latest version of Quicktime. Once you do that, you can use any basic movie program (like Windows Movie Maker) or just copy it from My Computer.
