I have a Compaq Presario V6000 laptop, which has a problm. It has a CD/DVD drive. DVDs work fine in this drive but CDs and VCDs are not working. when insertd the green led starts blinking..bt dsnt open. kindly plz help. Thank u .thank u

It's most likely a hardware problem with the drive. You can try cleaning the laser carefully, but 95% of the time the drive needs to be replaced when users experience this problem.

- Just use a q-tip and clean the lens carefully in a circular motion, afterwards make sure there aren't any cotton fibers left behind.
If that doesn't work, I've got one more thing you could try before replacing the drive.

I can go to setting, then display, then appearance, then whatever, then fonts=but still I can't get the screen items (windows, text, graphics) large enough to see easily. I don't like to use the little magnifier all the time. Also: I've asked for the URL of my LG notebook PC so I can find the manual there, but I don't get answered. I try to write down all the model numbers, serial numbers, etc., I see on the box., but I have to use the drop down listing, which does not have my model number. So I choose "none of the above" and don't get that question answered. Thanks for trying, and I hope you keep sending me stuff. We'll get this whipped!
