The easy fix for leaking under the machine is check to see if the drain is clogged. Open the front and remove the brew unit. You will see a small hole that will drain the excess into the Plastic tray. Usualy I find Coffee grounds clogging the drain hole. Use Pipe Cleaner , Q-Tip to clear the drain hole. you can also wipe out from the other side with paper towel or Q-tips. once the clog is clear. Flush our with water.

The rubber in the water tank moveable sealing mechanism contracts/shrinks as the machine ages......why? i dont know...probably Saeco should have used higher quality rubber........now, wrap a rubber band around the round/circular outside diameter of the hole in the main machine....not talking about the water tank....i took the rubber band wrapped around grocery store broccolli.......when seated in the groove, it has enough height to act as a second gasket for the water coming out of the tank and down into the machine.......this has been working for two years.........other people i have told have had success as well.......cost to fix........practically zero......a head of broccolli

Check the little chamber under the white plastic valve behind the brew unit, that might be blocked with coffee.

Saeco vienna leaks CLEAR water from under the machine. A tiny amount of coffee makes it through to the cup

The leaking is from the water pipe coming from the boiler thought the solenoid valve to coffee group. Their are many points that this leak can be so the only way to find it is to run the machine completly open without the plastic sides. The most posible postion is the plastic hose conected on the coffee group and some times you will have to place it back in position very easy.
Good luck.

My Saeco Vienna Deluxe has water leaking out from somewhere underneath - clear water.

There are so many places to check, but lets check the small chamber under the white plastic valve, which sits behind the brew unit, clean out the chamber of coffee grounds. If that is not the cause then, you will have to open the machine to find the leak.

My saeco vienna water is leaking out from somewhere underneath

If it is coffee colored water, then remove the brew unit and look under the white plastic valve in the machine, you will notice a small chamber, clean chamber of coffee grounds and make sure the little discharge to the draintray is also clear. Insert brew unit and check machine.

After coffee is made, clean water leaks out the bottom.

Remove the brew unit, find the white plastic valve inside, look under the valve you will see a small chamber, with a discharge going into the drain tray, clean out chamber and discharge.

Saeco Vienna leaking

We had this problem and it was overflow from a clog -- check the hole where excess water drains into the drip tray to see if it is full of grounds. Cleaned it out with a twistie tie and flushed w/ water. That stopped the water on our counter!
