Unfortunately no, you would need to replace the internal panel on the TV and honestly the labor and part would cost more then just buying a new set in most cases. If the screen has a glass cover and just the glass is cracked but the rest of the picture looks fine (no distortion in the LCD) then you could just remove the glass and run the screen unprotected or copy the dimensions of the glass/plastic and send it away to have a new sheet made to fit.
Sorry no,because the LCD screen panel is 90% of the tv,and it limited produced by the tvs corporations. No,where u will able find it to buy the LCD screen panel, except only is in the tvs corporations will able to sell it to u the LCD screen panel, but they'll charge u the LCD screen panel, same as a new tv,might even more after the labors. Now ur tv only worth as salvage electronics board parts, not worth as a whole tv anymore.
Please clarify whether the entire tv powers off or only the screen turns off and you can hear the sound so that we can continue with the diagnosis. Sony LCDs are notorious for backlight inverter failures.
