Maybe your disk is corrupted. Or try to use another loader like NeoGamma or WiiGator. Just Install the wad file with your wad manager. ;)

Wii - How to SoftMod, Guide.

This post will explain How to SoftMod Nintendo Wii on any firmware, Region and make its Homebrew enabler for play Wii games, backup, Homebrew applications on your wii, And all without needing a wii modchip!

Requirements: A SD card, (1GB should be enough for Installer and Backup), formatted to FAT32. Some SD card is not compatible to be used to backup the wii nand, but its work for use as boot2 of bootmii, so you might be need 2 different memory, for installation and nand backup.

Download: All files can be found **Here..!
*SD Card Pack
*cIOS38_rev14-Installer
*IOS60 Patched.
*Trucha Bug Restorer
*WAD Manager v1.4
*AnyRegion_Changer_v1_1b
*AnyTitleDeleterDB

*Backup Launcher WBKL
*Firmware Updater v4.1 -299Kb. (Need Wi-Fi connections).
*preloader v0.29 -214Kb. (OPTIONAL).
Installation Procedure:Adding Files.
  1. Extract ‘SD Card Pack’ and copy all contents to the root of SD Card, and copy a second of ‘IOS38-64-v3610.wad’ to ‘wad’ folder - ‘SD:/wad/’.
  2. Extract ‘cIOS38 rev14 Installer’, ‘Trucha Bug Restorer’, ‘WAD Manager’, ‘Any Region Changer’, and ‘Any Title Deleter’, into ‘apps’ folder - ‘SD:/apps/’.
  3. Extract ‘IOS60 Patched’ and ‘Backup Launcher WBKL’ into ‘wad’ folder - ‘SD:/wad/’
  4. Preloader is also an optional install, if you don't want it just skip.. Extract ‘Preloader’ into ‘apps’ folder. ‘SD:/apps/’.
  5. Extract ‘Firmware Updater v4.1’ into ‘apps’ folder. ‘SD:/apps/’. This updater require wi-fi connection, If you want to use offline updater, you will need wad updater (*.wad) and put its into ‘wad’ folder. IMPORTANT!! Make sure you have select the right one for your region..! E=Europe, J=Japan, U=USA, if you use a firmware from a different region, it will BRICK your Wii.!
Install BootMii & Homevrew Channel.Homevrew Channel is a channel on your wii menu that will allow you to put applications (homebrew) on your sd card and put them on your wii, this may include emulators, games, and installers.

Insert the SD card into Wii. then, Go to ‘Wii Options’ > ‘Data Management’ > ‘Channels’ > ‘SD Card’, then you will get a message saying ‘Load boot.elf?’, select ‘Yes’ and the Hackmii installer will run.

Press ‘A’ to continue, Install the ‘Homebrew Channel’ (HBC), and follow the on screen instructions. When done, the HBC will appear on wii channel.. Now go back and install ‘Bootmii’ as ‘boot2’ (recommended), if you can't install it, try different SD card. When it done, reboot your wii with it SD card, and wii will load into BootMii menu..

bootmii.jpg
Backup Wii NandMaking a NAND Backup with Bootmii is highly recommended, it will recover your Wii from bricks. make sure there is at least 530MB free on SD Card.

Boot Wii into BootMii menu, if bootmii is installed as an IOS, go to the Homebrew Channel, press ‘home’ on your Wiimote then select ‘Launch Bootmii’.

Wii - installed a .wad now get black screen

I hate to scare you but that's not good. You might have bricked your Wii by installed a bad .WAD -- installing a bad WAD will most definitely brick your Wii. Hopefully you did a backup using BootMii before you did that and backed up your Wii's NAND. Thats the ONLY way you can restore your brick Wii from bad .WAD installs. Here's a few great guides that might help you unbrick your Wii.. good luck!

Downgrade wii from 4.0 to 3.4 or lower

The Following Steps assume you have the Homebrew Channel:

STEP 1- Load Wad Manager from the Homebrew Channel (hbc) and install
"iosinstaller.wad"

STEP 2- Load Custom Wad Manager from hbc and install "cios-fix.wad"

STEP 3- Load IOS Downgrader from hbc. Follow all directions until it tells you
that it has been completed. **KEEP IN MIND that this is different from
"cIOS Downgrader"!**

STEP 4- Load cIOS Downgrader from hbc **KEEP IN MIND that this is
different from "IOS Downgrader"!**

-L@@K---> MAKE SURE YOU PICK YOUR CORRECT REGION <---L@@K

-For example: 3.2U= USA/Canada; 3.2E= Europe; 3.2J=Japan

-OPTIONAL: You may choose another system firmware other than 3.2
if you want. My intention is to help guide you to downgrade to 3.2.
Remember that System Menu 3.2 is considered the 'ideal' firmware
for homebrew (if not all) to work properly.

STEP 5- (You may skip this if you wish) At this point you should be on System
Menu 3.2 (or other firmware). You may check your Wii settings to see
for yourself.

~~Again if your NOT in System Menu 3.2 you will not be able to do Step 6~~

STEP 6- Load Starfall from hbc. After reading the discalimer you will be
instructed to press B+1 instead of B+2. Press B+1 to continue on to
the next screen.
-As of version 0.5 Starfall has 8 options/patches to the Wii in which
you can install. The last 3 are the most important ones. Some people
just install everything which is fine.

-STARFALL comes with these options (the ones in red are the important ones):

~Replace healthwarning with back menu
~Region free GC games with video mode patch
~Region free Wii Games
~Region free channels
~No Mainmenu BGM (Background Music)
~Start rescue-menu when Y is held on 1st GC controller (Usefull for
recovering bricks)
~Remove rescue-menu diagnostic disc check
~Skip disc update check

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Complete~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Congratulations you have successfully downgraded your Wii along with
a rescue menu if have accidently bricked your Wii.
Ok, the PSP emulator is a program that emulates the work of PSP on your computer, and take a portion of your PC's CPU to emulate the PSP's Processor. Or you can say it's a program that runs your PSP games through a window. To Run your "Doom on PSP" I can paste some text from the readme.txt inside this file: http://psp-news.dcemu.co.uk/files/doompspv005plus.zip Release Notes for Doom-PSP 0.05 plus: To Install fw 1.0 and 2.0(with loader) 1. Create Doom dir under Games. 2. Copy save, wads, inst, config.ini, and timidity.cfg into doom folder. 3. copy eboot.pbp from fw10 into doom dir. 4. copy any main wads into doom/wads dir and pwads into doom/wads/pwads dir. 5. launch game, select wads and play! to set up controls press L+R+Start and follow instructions. fw 1.5 1. Create Doom dir under Games. 2. Create Doom% dir under Games. 2. Copy save, wads, inst, config.ini, and timidity.cfg into doom folder. 3. copy eboot.pbp from fw15/Doom into doom dir. 5. copy eboot.pbp from fw15/Doom% into doom% dir. 4. copy any main wads into doom/wads dir and pwads into doom/wads/pwads dir. 5. launch game, select wads and play! to set up controls press L+R+Start and follow instructions. Then give us feedback. Play nice with your PSP. Goodluck
