Question about Sony MXD-D5C 5-Disc CD Changer
I have 2 units, the mxd-d5c along with the mds-je480. Is there any way i can hook the 2 units up "properly" in order to make a duplicate minidisc????? Please help! thanks : )
What you want to do is impossible. All minidisc units except for the later Hi-MD were designed so that discs could not be copied exactly as an anti piracy measure.
The only way is to connect the headphone socket of one machine to the microphone socket of the other. As this means the signal will be converted from digital to audio, pass through an amplifier and then be reconverted from audio to digital there will be a small loss of quality. You can minimise it by delving into the menu of the exporting player and setting the headphone socket to "line" which bypasses the volume control to give a better quality sound output.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
