Question about Olympus DS-3000 Digital Voice Recorder
If you are lucky, it is just the dess headers which are corrupt. This means you can take the smart media card out of the DS-3000 and put it into a card reader. Connect the card reader to the PC and copy the corrupt files onto the PC. Depending on where abouts in the world you are you can contact Olympus technical support where you should be able to send the files and get the header repaired which will allow you to playback the files. (If you are in the UK you can call 0845 521 8588 Olympus Service)

If the files are corrupt then you could only retrieve corrupted files which would be useless.
