Question about Blueant Z9i Bluetooth Headset

Z9i Connecting problem.

My Z9i disconnects after a few seconds of connecting Then takes 10 -20 retrys to connect again. How can I fix this annoying problem. When I first paired it to my phone it worked perfect. My husband tried to pair it to his phone (without reading instructions)and while I was on my phone, so I'm thinking he messed it up some how. Also, his phone will want to pair to my Z9i even though he removed it from his phone. HELP!

Have you tried resetting the Blueant Z9i? You push the Volume Up, Volume Down and Blueant buttons all at the same time (with the device on). This will eliminate all paired phones, then re-pair with just your phone (hold down Blueant button for 6 seconds or so to enter pairing mode).

    I have the opposite problem. I am connecting before I hear a phone ring. I just hear a voice in my ear and no warning. So if I'm talking to someone and don't realize I'm connected... they caller hears all. The last one of these that I had, I had to press a connection button on the headset, this one is programmed differently I guess. Can you make a suggestion?

Nextbook 8 cant get wifi to work now - worked before??


Hi there
You have checked that you are joined to the network via the router?
The laptop most certainly is.
Try disconnecting the router and turning the Nextbook off for a few seconds, connect the router on again and open Nextbook.
Join the network again and put the password in.
This way of connecting has worked for me. Hope it will for you.

Lg shine stuck on headset mode


Try connecting your headset again and then disconnect it after a few seconds. I think there's just an issue on the headset outlet.

Clear memory on blue ant z9


  1. To reset your Z9i it must be switched on but not connected to any devices.
  2. You should already have deleted the pairing information from your phone, but if you have not, use your phone's Bluetooth menu to disconnect from the Z9i and delete the pairing information.
  3. Now reset the Z9i by holding down "Vol +" and "Vol -" and then clicking the BlueAnt button.
  4. The Z9i will refresh its memory, delete all current pairing information and automatically go into pairing mode.

How do I put this bluetooth (ant Z9i)into pairing mode? please be detailed as possible...


Pairing Procedure (This is an example only and may differ from your phone, but the process will be the same.)
1. First turn the phone OFF and then back ON again to refresh its memory.
2. Bring the mobile phone to about 30cm from the Z9i Dual Microphone.
3. Find the Bluetooth menu in your mobile phone. Turn Bluetooth ON. (Check your mobile phone user guide if necessary)
4. With the Z9i OFF, Press and Hold the MFB for about 6 seconds. The LED will appear a solid Blue, and then will start fl ashing. The
Z9i is now in Pairing mode and ready to be found in searches by other Bluetooth devices. Pairing mode will be active for 2 minutes.
5. Perform a Bluetooth device discovery on your mobile phone to add a new device. (It takes a few seconds to search for
and fi nd other Bluetooth devices around you).
6. When Bluetooth devices are found, the phone will display “BlueAnt Z9i”. Scroll to it and press OK to confi rm that you
want to Pair with it.
7. Enter Passkey “0000” when your phone prompts you. The phone and Z9i will now Pair.
8. An additional security setting in your phone may be needed to allow the headset and phone to connect automatically
without confi rmation each time you connect your Z9i. Generally in the options for the BlueAnt Z9i, it will be referred to as
“set as authorized”, “add to trusted devices”, ‘’allow connection’’ or similar.
9. If required for fi rst time connection, select the BlueAnt Z9i to connect with your phone. OR, Click the MFB on the Z9i,
to connect with the phone.

My wg111t connects for a few seconds then disconnects. I can get online but it is constantly connecting then disconnecting the connecting and so on its pissing me off help!!!!!!!!!


please increase channel number on router,it will fix your
recomended channel number is 11 or 09 for netgear adapter
and also you can upgrade driver for adapter

Ethernet connection gets disconnected very often


If none of the router jacks give you a solid connection and you maintain one when you directly connect to the modem, it is time to replace the router.
