My phone will randomly load up apps on its own. It will be charging and begin loading up an app. (ie. Navigator) with out being touched. It does this with all the apps. & even the get it now. When I took it in to Verizon they told me some one or something was touching the screen and thusly activating the apps. This is not true. It has done it while sitting on the desk next to me. The screen will be locked and it will just light up from sleep mode and begin launching apps. This is annoying and I need to resolve this problem.
You might have broke the screen so it is always touching and it will always unlock your phone on its own. The only solution for this is to bring it to Verizon and tell them you want a new phone or you will cancel your plan and go to sprint. It works every time.

My Samsung Wave will not load Facebook or Apps store.
With Facebook it loads to home screen but cuts out straight away and returns to the menu screen.
With tha Apps it gives the message error with a code (different each time i try?) Can someone help please. I havent touched the settings or installed anything yet. Thanks, Simon.
Since you tested with a service representative from the wireless company side by side we will pass the topic of cellular signal.
The apps on the phone are going to take up two things: 1.) Ram- the memory that allows you to do multiple things quickly 2.) network access- your data transmission to cell phone towers or wifi
The EVO has an android operating system (froyo 2.2) and has quite a nifty app market. I personally recommend finding a high rated task killer and installing it. This app will help to terminate other applications every thirty minutes that may be taking up both RAM and cellular data.
Second step: Connect to a wifi network and see if you still have the issue.
Third Step: It doesn't really matter how many apps you have installed as long as they are not all running and using system memories at the same time. Check to see which apps are using the most system resources under system -> applications-> running. If you don't need the 3rd party apps that are using the most system resources, uninstall them and run the task killer.
Your provider may have locked your phone to prevent it from installing applications that are not downloaded from the Market. To load apps on your phone, select the Market application from your App Drawer and download applications from there. These approved apps will work with your phone.
