Have you looked at the power settings to see if it's going on standby? You can look at them in the Control Panel. But if you have not changed them, then I think you might be looking at a heat problem. Blow out the ports on the side/bottom of the computer to get any dust out that might be in there. Also, you system fan could have failed. Most often when a computer just freezes or goes black at a regular interval (happens over and over) it is a heat issue. Yours is an older computer and there is a good possibility there is dirt build-up.

Run CHKDSK/F to fix any hard drive errors and then run a registry utility to clean the registry. www.iobit.com works very well and is FREE!
Hope that helps.

There is sme problem wh ma laptop wen i am

If the screen shows a picture but very faintly, the inverter is either not connected properly or faulty.

If there's nothing on the screen at all

1) Your screen is either not connected properly or faulty.

or 2) *********** board has a fault.

or 3) Your graphics card/chip has a fault.

You can connect your laptop to another screen using the VGA port on the back. You have to switch to the spare screen using the keyboard, usually Fn and another key. If the spare screen then shows a picture, *********** board and graphics card are OK, your screen is at fault or not connected properly.

Checking the connections to both the inverter and screen will require dismantling you laptop. If you go about this, ensure all power, including the battery is disconnected.

I have a Toshiba lap top A 105. I have lost my internet

It is possible to disable the wireless connection with the keyboard. Try the combination of Fn and F8 buttons (this is a common Toshiba shortcut) to turn it back on. If that doesn't work, look at your Network Connections (through the Control Panel, assuming a Windows OS, if needed). Check the settings and if it is enabled. In the device manager, check if the wireless adapter has an exclamation point in a yellow triangle. If you have the exclamation point try letting Windows repair the driver. (You may need to access the Toshiba website for the correct driver. Either use a different machine and put the driver on a disc or USB driver or your machine's wired connection.) If that tells you it has no problems, remove the wireless connection (and uninstall the driver) and reboot the computer and it should see new hardware and start reinstalling the driver. Then you can try to establish a new wireless connection.

If the above solutions do not help, it's likely to be a hardware failure. You could get a new wireless adapter (USB or an appropriate card for your laptop add-on card slot), use the wired network (if that has worked), or consider a new machine.

Display Becoming White

First, to verify if it is your display adapter, connect an external monitor to your laptop and see if it displays fine. If it is fine on the monitor, then we know that it is from your laptop screen(in this case, it is either you first check from a technician if it is the colour that has to be refilled or if you need to purchase a new screen). If not then it is from your display adapter(could be from corrupt display drivers). In this case, you would have to re-install new drivers for your display adapter(you can download it from your system manufacturer's website if you don't already have it).
Thanks
