I have a Acer Aspire one notebook. I have downloaded music and dvd's but when I play it comes up with 'cannot find codec matching selected - vo and video format 0x44495658' can anyone tell me what to do?

it would depend on the media player more than the hardware. I suggest you try "Media Player Classic" which is included with the "klite media codec pack" During setup select "2.0 stereo" for your audio.
Try playing few music DVD's and check if the problem is with the DVD for with the Notebook and if the problem is with the notebook please approach the store from where you have purchased the notebook and they would be replacing the DVD drive.
there is no cd dvd drivers for any notebook it is plug and play thing it works with pre loaded drivers of vista and xp , whats ur problem exactly why do u need it are u talking about the Drivers of Acer 5610 on dvd or cd is that u are asking then go to www.acer.com and go for support and downloads feed ur notebook model and then download drivers thats it
