There are a couple removable panels on the bottom cover.Open them 1 at a time and your HDD should be in there. You'll need to unscrew the mounting bracket then pull the drive away from the attached end and then out.
Good or bad, please rate my post?

Many Sony's have the hdd buried inside, not under the keyboard, not accessible from the back, and not side mounted. Some are in bizarre locations.

ASUS ET27001 hard drive failure. Need to remove the hard drive. HOW TO OPEN THE CASE.

You need tools to open the computer case with Phillips screwdriver with appropriate size. Unscrew the 2 or 3 screw at the back of the case and then slightly slide the cover of the computer case to open. You will see the the hard drive screwed on the inside and unscrew and detach the power cord and data cable.

Can you hard reset bios on sony pcg-k115s?

Find and fix errors in your system BIOS
BIOS Patcher can find and fix errors in your system BIOS (only AWARD BIOS for now) and also it can add or open new features, i.e. some features that your BIOS has but they are closed by manufacturer of your motherboard. It scans rom file. If it finds any known errors it fixes the errors. If it finds any closed features it opens it. hope this helps

Hi! I would like to remove the hard disk from the Sony Vaio PCG 954a. Could you please inform how to proceed? Thank you very much for your help! Verena

On Sony laptops, the way in is from the top. The strip above the keyboard, and below the screen is the 'locking' device. There should be one small screw that holds it in place. Slid it sideways to remove, then the keyboard can be removed. The drive should then be visible.

Baught a sony Vaio online but seller gave me the wrong personal password. I want to know if there is a way to bypass that? It is a Sony Vaio VGN-NR285E. Any Help will be greatly appreciated.

If it is a hard disk password, you will need to take it to a Sony repair shop or send it to Sony. If it is just a boot password, clearing the NVRAM should fix it.

Sony vaio pcg fx301 clock speed

You'd have to go into the bios and change the CPU speed or the BUS speed. I wouldn't recommend OCing a laptop, though, as they tend to get hot enough w/o it.
