Question about JVC Video Cameras
Have had a JVC gz-mg37aa for a couple of years now and want to copy the files on the camera to computer. Have installed software that came with camera onto xp computer following JVC's instructions. Then connected the camcorder to the compter using usb. When connected the camera displays 'USB Mass Storage' as it should but in 'my computer' it only comes up as removable disk 'e' not 'everio_hdd' as the manual says it should. When 'removable e' is opened it comes up with 'the disk in drive E is not formatted. Do you want to format it now? Yes/No?'
I haven't clicked yes and i don't know whether i should because i thought clicking yes might wipe (format) all the files on the camera thus loosing footage of honeymoon and recent baby videos.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
