Question about Lenovo IdeaPad Y510 Notebook
I have Lenova Y510. Please let me know how to fix the inbuilt webcam problem. Its drivers are updated but not connects with any messenger and if we connect external cam then sometimes it works good, else shows the same blank green colour screen. And one usb port is not working. It says one usb port disabled. Please check the drivers.
Based on your situation, I suggest trying the following steps:
1. Download the updated camera driver here. 2. Go to camerasection and make sure you select the Windows XP or Vistaversion of the drivers that matches your Windows operating system. 3. Afterdownloading install the driver then restart your computer. For theUSB concern,
1. Gointo Device Manager and uninstall all of the USB related devices.
2. Shut down and restart the computer. Windows will redetect and reload
the USB drivers which may resolve the issues.
3. If the problem persists then I suspect that you may have a physical
(hardware) problem with the USB ports themselves and therefore you
should have a hardware repair technician examine the computer.
Hope ithelps.Thanksfor using Fixya
