Question about LG 50PX5D 50 in. Plasma HDTV
This is also known as "Tiger Striping". Your set is running way too hot. This can also be caused by storage of the unit in a garage or other place that does not have air conditioning. Heat has destroyed the seal around the plasma screen causing it to melt and leak down behind the glass or allowed the space between the glass to become contaminated. This is not fixable. By a new TV.
