Remove CMOS battery. Removing the CMOS battery like the one shown in the picture causes the system to lose all CMOS settings; including the password. To do this, locate and remove the CMOS battery from the motherboard for at least five minutes, then replace the battery and turn the computer back on

Computer was locked

Resetting the CMOS password on an Acer Aspire laptop is much more difficult than resetting the password on a desktop.
Disassembly steps vary from model to model, but on most models, you'll have to take apart the computer to access the CMOS battery.
Don't take apart the notebook if you don't have experience disassembling PCs.
After turning off the computer and disconnecting the AC adapter, take out the battery (different from the CMOS battery).
All visible screws must then be removed from the bottom of the notebook.
Remove all components stored to their separate compartments on the base of the notebook.
Turn over and open the PC. Lift up the switch cover and remove the screws securing the keyboard to the PC, if any are visible.
Remove the keyboard.
Remove the screws securing the monitor to the hinges, and then set the monitor aside.
Disconnect all visible cables connected to the motherboard; and then remove the screws from the top cover.
Remove the top cover to reveal the motherboard. Locate and then remove the CMOS battery. Leave it out of the notebook for 24 hours; then reinstall it and reassemble the Acer Aspire.
Other Options
If removing the CMOS battery fails to clear the password, or if you dont feel comfortable with the idea of opening your computer, you might be able to gain access to the computer using a backdoor password.
These special passwords were implemented to allow technicians to access locked computers. Not all models recognize backdoor passwords.
Most Acer Aspires use the Phoenix BIOS, and backdoor passwords for this BIOS include BIOS, CMOS, phoenix and PHOENIX.
All of these passwords are case-sensitive.

How to remove the bios password and the windows password

Step 1:
The Acer Aspire stores the password in a component called the complementary metal-oxide semiconductor. This component is integrated into a random access memory chip embedded on the motherboard. The CMOS holds data that the basic input/output system - a critical software utility that controls how the computer operates at startup - accesses when the computer boots. If the BIOS detects that a password is registered in the CMOS, it will prevent the computer from booting until the user enters the password correctly. Depending on which model of Acer Aspire you own, you may be able to clear the CMOS manually. Contact Acer before attempting to clear the CMOS, as opening the computer without permission could void your warranty. Desktop Models Some Acer Aspire desktop models come with a jumper that is used to clear the password and other settings stored on the CMOS. This jumper is located on the motherboard and is often found next to a label such as "JBIOS1" or "CLR_CMOS." To clear the CMOS using the jumpers, turn off the computer, disconnect the power cable and remove the case cover. Remove the jumper shunt from pin 1 and pin 2; then place the shunt on pin 2 and pin 3. Return the shunt to its initial position after 10 to 15 seconds. If the Aspire doesn't come with a jumper to reset the CMOS, the CMOS can be reset by removing the lithium coin-cell battery instead. Removal is accomplished by pushing down on the tab securing the battery to the motherboard and lifting the battery out of its slot. Leave the battery out for 24 hours, and then return it to its original position with the positive sign facing up. What's your problem?lockedout of my computer

It depends what type of computer it is and what type of password you are talking about. If it is a Basic Input Output System (BIOS) password and the computer is a desktop PC, then all you have to do is disconnect the power cable and other cables, open the computer and then remove the flat silver Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) or Real Time Clock (RTC) battery for a few minutes to clear the BIOS cache of its memory, then replace it, close the computer, reconnect the cables and then start the computer again.
If your computer is a laptop, notebook or netbook, the removing the CMOS/RTC battery can also work to clear BIOS passwords in some models. The CMOS/RTC battery on portable computers can sometimes be accessed by opening one of the small compartments underneath but, more often than not needs the computer to be disassembled. On many portable computers, removing and replacing the CMOS/RTC battery has no effect on the BIOS password because the BIOS memory is archived in BIOS-related capacitors which retain a charge even if the computer is disconnected from the mains electricity or has its battery removed.
If the password is an Operating System Password then you really only have 4 choices. Either try to remember the password, use another computer to download password recovery software, burn a password recovery tool stored on a flash drive or a CD (depending on what the BIOS will allow) and use that to find and enable you to clear or change the password to something more memorable; remove the hard disk drive (HDD) and use another computer to connect it to and back any important data up to the computer or another storage device, then reinstall the HDD to the original computer and reinstall a fresh copy of the Operating System, drivers and programs or (if no important data was stored on the HDD) to just go ahead and wipe everything on it by doing a fresh Operating System, drivers and programs installation.

Forget my bios password notebook hp 6720s

Removing the RTC battery and leaving it uninstalled for 5 or more minutes causes all passwords and CMOS settings to be cleared. BIOS password can be removed by temporarily disconnecting/ removing the RTC/ CMOS (Coin-cell) battery from the motherboard. Disconnect the coin-cell battery from the system board and it will reset the BIOS to its default setting and the password would be gone.
Please Refer to Page 77 of the REPAIR MANUAL HP 6720S.
If you can't do it yourself, you may seek help from local laptop service professional.

GoodLuck!
Dont forget to appreciate the solution if I could have been of any help!

Reset the bios password Toshiba A105-S2131 i cant do nothing, no dos, no windows when i just turned it on tha screenn of logo toshiba apears and then the password, if some can helpme ai really apreciate...

Sounds like you have a bootup password set in the bios. Press the key for getting into the bios and if it does not ask for a password then you can change the setting for bootup password.

If not then you will have to have the bios reset. In a desktop it involves unplugging the computer and either removing the battery or using the jumper to clear cmos.

On the laptop it would be unplugging it, removing the battery, accessing the internal area to remove the cmos battery to clear the cmos.
