Parameter 1 is probably not a string. If fact based on the code snippet it looks like parameter 1 "sring1" maybe should be spelled "string1"

Codes of c++

Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 is an integrated development environment, or IDE, released by Microsoft in 1998. An IDE allows the user to create a computer application by using pre-designed functions, tools and other resources. Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 features a source code editor, a compiler, a debugger and graphical user interface.

Install Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 on your computer. The installation process is fairly simple. Just follow the prompts. Run the program. A window will appear asking you to create a new application. On the "Project" tab, choose "Win32 Console Application." This means that you will create an application with an EXE file extension that can work with 32-bit Windows operating systems after compiling the project. Also, specify the project's name and the location where it will be saved. Click "OK." Click"OK" in the dialog box that will appear next. You will choose to start an open project. Double-click on the form in the center of the screen. Type: #include <iostream.h> int main() { cout <<"This is my first project!!! Hello everybody! \n" return 0; } Press "F5." This will build and run the project. Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 will compile your project into an EXE file. Then it will open this file. You will see a new window open in which you'll see your greeting, " This is my first project!!! Hello everybody!" Press any key to exit the application. http://elvis.rowan.edu/~kay/cpp/vc6_tutorial/ http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/visualc/ee340952.aspx

Can you give an example of compiler using vb?

Dim parameters As New CompilerParameters() Dim results As CompilerResults parameters.GenerateExecutable = True parameters.OutputAssembly = Output results = icc.CompileAssemblyFromSource(parameters, SourceText)
The code above uses the CompilerParameters object to tell the compiler that you want to generate an executable file (as opposed to a DLL) and that you want to output the resulting assembly to disk. The call to CompileAssemblyFromSource is where your assembly gets compiled. This method takes your parameters object and the source code, which is a string. Once you compile your code you can check to see if there were any compilation errors. We use the return value from CompileAssemblyFromSource, which is a CompilerResults object. This object contains an errors collection, which contains any errors that occurred during the compile.
There are other options for compiling, such as compiling from a file. You can also batch compile, which means you can compile multiple files or sources at the same time. Additional information on these classes is available on MSDN Online:

Why not use Word Automation? You instantiate an object with a reference to Application.Word, load your document, then use the built in functions to extract the text from the document and paste it into the MSP document.

5.Description
Used at script level to force explicit declaration of all variables in that script.
Syntax
------------
Option Explicit
Remarks
----------------
If used, the Option Explicit statement must appear in a script before any procedures.
When you use the Option Explicit statement, you must explicitly declare all variables using the Dim, Private, Public, or ReDim statements. If you attempt to use an undeclared variable name, an error occurs.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Use Option Explicit to avoid incorrectly typing the name of an existing variable or to avoid confusion in code where the scope of the variable is not clear.
