SOURCE: 1998 Jeep grand Cheroke hard cranking, sputtering, rough idling

In READING what you wrote, it appears that your car is difficult to start and pretty much is rough while running....It also appears that your are randomly replacing parts...How did you verify that the parts your have replaced had failed? I suggest you get a basic manual like chiltons or haynes as well as a decent digital volt/ohmeter, then do some testing. Pay close attention to map sensor test and manifold air temp. Having a good fuel pump does not insure that your injectors are clean enough to deliver a good spray pattern This will not show up on any test...you need to actually look at them. There are other items to look at but I think you will likely find your problem in what i mentioned. (you already checked for vacuum leaks, right?)
Good luck!

SOURCE: I have a 1994 jeep grand cherokee laredo its

The computer is releasing to much gas into the chamber. It something you'll have to get the computer to re-learn, or update it at the dealership. Only someone/company with a Tech2 can do as it connects to your cars computer (ECM) and once in there you can select the option to watch/measure or less / plus the fuel consumption.

No start 2005 grand Cherokee

I loved working on those veh. But I'm going to need more info to assist you. Is this the 5.2 liter v8 or the 4.0 v6. Most common of these jeep no starts is a fuel pump, if you spray a (2 sec,) spray of throttle body cleaner into the throttle body then try to start it, will it fire up for a sec.? If so most likely a bad fuel pump

I have a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee, an automatic, with approximately 100,000 miles on it. In the last 2 weeks it has started hesitating, misfiring, and stalling at low speeds like around 30 mph or slower....

Throttle position sensor is not the only sensor or component involved in Idle, or full speed driving. Remember that on a fuel injected engine AIR is everything. Unless the computer can't send the proper signals to the injectors, fuel ( aside from a bad fuel pump ) is not going to be an issue. Make sure that the other sensors on the throttle body are working fine. Take a look at the throttle body yourself. It's not a hard procedure. Just look at it and run the engine. Is running correctly at all temperatures? As far as the directional signal, you have to trouble shoot that one, but it may not be difficult to find the issue. Check for a loose bulb.

My 2004 jeep grand cherokee pulses! But only when driving and maintaining the same speed. It doesn't do it at idle or when I'm excellerating! I've replaced all spark plugs and wires, air filter, and the...

Have the idle mixture motor replaced and clean the throttle body intake, throttle plate, and that throttle linkage you see on the side of the throttle body with throttle body cleaner. Also, dump some complete fuel system cleaner in your gas tank and fill it with premium for a change, you cheap bastard.

My 2005 jeep grand cherokee stalls on me while im in an idling position or at a stop sign.

I had the same problem. It was getting to where the car stalled every time I stopped. I took it to the dealer and they told me that I needed a new Idle Air Control Motor and a complete fuel injection service (including spark plugs and wires). The price tag...only $750.00. I went online to a few different forums and consulted a trusted technician in my hometown and was able to fix it myself. The problem was carbon buildup on the throttle body. It sounds difficult to fix, but it is right at the top of the engine and easily accessible. Click here for directions to clean the throttle body. I suggest the one where you remove teh throttle body first, you can get it much cleaner that way. I know the link is for a 2004 and older, but it is the same process for 2005 and up. For the cost of a can of throttle body cleaner and some shop towels, it is worth it. Total cost to do it myself was $6.50 (yes, six dollars and fifty cents) and about an hour. It has not stalled since and that was about 6 weeks ago.

Does it turn over? If not, try disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it. This has worked for my Jeep before.

Had problem starting, engine stopped while driving

Have you ever cleaned the throttle valve and idle speed control valve? this is on the stall issue. the starter sounds like the contacts may be burnt in the starter solenoid, this is common on this type of Japanese starter at about this mileage, you can rebuild the starter solenoid or just replace it.
