I was watching a movie on my laptop, i set it down and walked away for a moment, when i got back there was no sound! What happened? I checked to see if maybe it was muted but I don't know what happened, I have never had trouble with the sound, please somebody help!!

Not much you can do about this. The movie industry sets movies to low volume when recording for better sound. They expect you to have the equipment to boost the sound. This cuts down on their outside noise. Only solution for this is to install external speakers as I have done for my movie or TV playing (I installed a TV adapter so I could hook up a projector and display the BIG game outside) but as you say, we couldn't hear it until I hooked up external speakers.
