SOURCE: power lock enable

To get rid of the power button enable you need to either press and hold the power button on the tv ( not on the remote control pad) for approx 15 seconds or if that does not work do the same using the source button

Actually its a panel fault. You will need new inverter board for the panel. (That is if you get the power and sound, but no picture)

SOURCE: Powerlock Enable cannot be removed from my ViewSonic N3246w.

I have a 19" ViewSonic and if you hold down the 2nd and 3rd buttons together under the screen, counting from the LEFT, it will disable the Powerlock.

SOURCE: viewsonic n3752w will not power up.

You may have bad main logic board, http://www.shopjimmy.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=n3752

The back light is working for sure, you may want to check if the Power supply on signal goes to 5v when you push the power button.

SOURCE: when i try to adjust volume down on the television

This is caused by ether a stuck button pad under the actual button on the panel or a faulty control board that has the button pads on them, what would need to be done is first investigate if there are any stuck buttons then replace the actual board if that is not the case,

let me know if you have any questions, otherwise please do leave positive feedback and ratings for your free answer today, Thanks

Viewsonic n1930 factory reset

One year and 3 days after purchase, my Viewsonic TV went gray after turning it on. After doing the obvious (unplugging the power, playing with the buttons, checking the manual), I called the customer support center. A very nice lady gave me the secret to the factory reset.
Hold down the "on" button, the "menu "button, and the "ch +" button at the same time for about 8-10 seconds. Upon release, a menu screen will appear in the upper left corner. Use the menu button on the remote to change the settings. It may take a bit of experimenting. For example, change "off" to "on", or "disable" to "enable". You'll know what I mean when you see it.
Write this hint down and save it - you'll need it. I have to reset my TV every 2 months

My viewsonic tv will not turn off with the remote or the power button. i have to switch it off at the wall. it is displaying message power lock enable.

Try disabling the lock by pressing and holding [1] (menu) and the down arrow on the front panel for 10 seconds or so. This toggles the power lock on and off for several Viewsonic monitors.

I hope this helps.

When I plug in the HD cables into the side of my ViewSonic TV, I get great picture but no sound at all. Plus all the plugs are plugged in correctly and I have quadruple checked.

My guess is that your source device is not outputting audio over HDMI. Probably is not the TV.
Try enabling the audio for HDMI in your source device on-screen menus.
Also try one of the other HDMI inputs on the TV on the rear, HDMI one and two and see if they work.
If that fails call

Powerlock Enable

There are buttons on the bottom of the monitor. Counting from the left, hold down buttons 2 and 3 simultaneously and this will disable the power lock feature. At least that's what I have to do on my 19" model ViewSonic.
