I did it without the cd. You just have to go this way,, Right click start menu open explore and then go or click windows folder and fin folder system 32 open it, and on your right pane scroll down and you should be able to see the games copy and paste to the folder programs games and your done, if you don`t have them in your computer you can always go to onother computer and copy them to a cd or removeble drive and install them in your pc.

There are no games

Try installing the Google Chrome web browser and installing one of the many free games they have available in their Web Store ( These do require an active internet connection, though.
Alternatively, you can visit Cnet's ( for a list of free, downloadable games that are guaranteed to be virus and spyware free!
If what you are missing is the stock games (such as minesweeper and solitair) that are generally included with Windows, then you can do the following (granted you have administrative rights to the machine)...
For Windows Vista or Windows 7: 1) Click the start menu and start typing: "Programs and Features" in the search box. It should show up underneath a heading labled "Control Panel." 2) Click on the link on the left side bar that reads "Turn Windows features on or off." crasher35_2.jpg
3) Make sure the check box next to "Games" is checked. If it is not, click on it to select all of the games on the list, or click on the check boxes next to the individual games you want. crasher35_3.jpg
4) You should get a dialog box asking you to wait. Once it disappears your games should be installed. crasher35_4.jpg

For Windows XP: 1) Click on Start, then Control Panel, then find "Add/Remove Programs." 2) In Add/Remove Programs, click the tab that says "Windows Setup." 3) Double click on the accessories icon. 4) Check the games icon. 5) Click Okay. 6) Click Apply.

Unlocking my games

Stephanie, you don't say the operating system you are using.

The games do not have to be unlocked but they may not have been loaded. In XP, go to the Control Panel and then Add or Remove Programs. On the left side there are four buttons, select the third, Add/Remove Windows Components. Click Accessories and Utilities and you will see a check box for Games. Check it and press OK. It may ask for a Windows CD to load from, but the CAB files are probably loaded on your system. Then the games will appear in your All Programs listing in a folder called Games.

Games don't work

Try and go back to programs and features on the controlpanel and see if the files are present for the games. If not, contact microsoft and they can help get new files for the game. Try the first swolution before because I believe that it will be much easier.
