Was facing the exact same problem with my W200i. I formatted my memory card using the "Quick Format " option and then re-uploaded my songs. That solved my problem. There is no disturbance in between songs now, also the "Playback Failed" error has also not occurred again.

Windows Cannot Find "Copy.exe"

When i installed AVG Free last time it removed few virus including "copy.exe". so whenever i go to "My Computer" (win key + E) and double click on any hard drive then i find an error stating that (Windows cannot find "Copy.exe").
Solution:
Well the solution for this "copy.exe" conundrum is to get rid of a file called autorun.inf in each of the infected hard drives. here's the solution for the problem......

Make sure you or the virus scanner is run through the infected hard drives/flash drives. to make sure the virus files is gone.
Now, some forums said you could just select "Show Hidden Files" from the option and this would enable you to see "autorun.inf" file.
Also, some entries in the "autorun.inf"may be legitimate. so to check the file (even when you can't see the file) do this: Type in the infected hard drive label followed by autorun.inf for example f:\autorun.inf
This will load autorun.inf file in notepad.if the only entry is that incriminating copy.exe then this is what i did. i tried to overwrite the file with the same name autorun.inf. that din't work because autorun file was readonly. so i saved that blank file on the desktop and simply cut it and pasted it into the drive, then selecting the overwrite option. that should stop that annoying windows cannot find "copy.exe" message every time you double click into a drive. this will solve the problem!

Sir em using kingston 2gb usb.bt the problem is that i have deleted autorun fron it,so it is not running in my car fm modulator

Solving this program is SIMPLE. Your BEST option is to contact Kingston directly:

http://www.kingston.co,/support/default.asp

Answer the questions on that page and follow the prompts to get help from Kingston. They will know how to help you solve the problem at no cost. They can e-mail you the proper AUTORUN.INF file; you can then COPY it to the USB drive so it will work again. KEEP A COPY OF THE AUTORUN FILE IN A SAFE PLACE, in case this problem occurs again.

Good luck; let us know how this turns out.

Startup programs sometimes late

The reason for start up programs running late is because there are more programs installed in the computer and it takes lots of time to get these programs to run during startup. Some of these programs are not too useful but will always delay a computer startup. More and more people are becoming aware of how important it is to take control of the "autorun" programs on their PCs. In case you didn't know, an autorun or startup program will launch automatically when Windows starts. Quite often, it's a useful program and you can find it's icon in the system tray. However, sometimes an autorun is not that useful. You may not know it's installed because it's hidden or you've forgotten you installed it. When that happens, these not so useful programs are taking up processor cycles and eating up system memory. Your PC gets slower as more hidden programs are launched as an autorun. Fortunately, there are several ways to take control of the autorun programs. Windows has a utility built in called "msconfig", and there are also quite a few third party autorun apps such as this one: Autoruns by Sysinternals. Autoruns is offered for download as a ZIP file. To install it, extract the ZIP file to a folder somewhere on your PC. You'll see the following four files in the folder. lonerangerx7.png

Double click the "autoruns.exe" file to launch the program. Here's a peek at Autoruns in action. lonerangerx7_0.png

If you find a program you aren't familiar with, you can right click on it and choose the "Search Online" task. That will open your web browser and send you to the search results for the file or process that you have highlighted. In order to stop a program from running at startup, you can remove the little check-mark beside it. The interface may look confusing at first, but if you run into any problems, you can always consult the built in help from the top menu. I hope this explanation helps in solving your problems

Worm.win32.autorun.blw virus appear in my system i already use kesper sky, but not solved. please advise a solution. thanx

When the executable is run on the victim's machine, the worm copies itself to the following locations:
  • %Application Data%\remove.exe (Copy of itself)
  • %Application Data%\autorun.inf
Where %Application Data% = c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data
Autorun.inf has following command
Exp: [autorun]
shellExecute=remove.exe
The worm adds a Run entry in registry so that it executes itself at every startup:
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
    "(Default)" = "%Application Data%\remove.exe"
Symptoms -
  • Presence of above mentioned files.
  • Presence of registry entries mentioned above.
Method of Infection Method of Infection - This worm spreads by using autorun.inf on shared drives and removable devices.
Removal - A combination of the latest DATs and the Engine will be able to detect and remove this threat. AVERT recommends users not to trust seemingly familiar or safe file icons, particularly when received via P2P clients, IRC, email or other media where users can share files.

My computer does not have a AutoPlay feature in it so I can insert and run my Cd-ROM PC games. It must have come with one but I can't find it.

Enabling AutoPlay on a data and audio CD (Windows XP)
  1. Open My Computer or Explorer
  2. Highlight the CD-ROM drive, right-click the CD-ROM drive and click properties.
  3. Click the AutoPlay tab. Within this section you will be able to specify all Windows AutoPlay features.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe
