BELKIN NETWORK USB HUB SXUPTP Driver problems

Hi to all who can help:

Just bought Belkin network usb hub (http://www.belkin.com/networkusbhub/) to link some of my ext hard disks. Installed the belkin program and on restart, it prompted me that SXUPTP Driver is missing and asked me to re install. and all this while it sits in the system extension folder. How do i link this file ? I am currently on Tiger, osx 10.4.10.

I downloaded the latest driver for 10.4 from Belkin support website ( http://www.belkin.com/support/article/?lid=en&pid=F5L009&aid=8547&scid=220) but it prompts me the same missing driver file. Out of curiousity and desperation, i downloaded the driver for Leopard 10.5 as well ( even though i am on tiger, guess how desperate i was
)and installed it . It too prompted for the missing SXUPTP driver file? What is going on?

Right now, the hub just sits and looks pretty , doing nothing.

Can anyone shed some light and how do some of the mac users get this hub to work with their machines?

Thanks in adavnce!!!!

J

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: Blue screen when playing iTunes on Logitech Z-10 speakers

Before, you return it, can you unplug the Wireless USB Hub, and plug in your iPod and does it work just fine?  Also, the USB port that you're plugging it into - is it USB 2.0?
If both answers are YES to the above - then definitely return it.
It's not your speakers.

SOURCE: Belkin Wireless 5-Port Hub (F5L009) Problem

If you set the allowed IP address in the security section of the router then you must fix your computer IP to 192.168.1.101 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 the default gateway should still be 192.168.1.1 and when you get in delete the security locking out all but the one address. Good Luck

SOURCE: wireless hub

I had the problem that, even though the hdd connected it would fail after a period of time (video streaming or file transfers). Set up was Samsung Q45 running wireless g connected to a belkin draft N Router. 3 other PCs (all g) using 2 different OS (Vista and Mac) had same problem.

Solution after months of searching, problem solved. Fitted Draft n PCMCIA card, and to ensure it was running at 300Mb had to use WPA PSK + WPA2 PSK security mode . Now works brilliantly and has managed to stream a full HD movie!! The Wireless link is now running faster 10Mbs compared with 4Mbs on g, although not fast it at least enables the HHD to be used in a stable configuration. Problem seems to be that the unit will not work properly unless wireless n link is used.

Sxuptp driver (belkin hub) makes XP PC hang with start up PC

I tried many procedures to get this working in Win7 x64 but every time I ran the installation package for the Belkin control center Windows stopped the process and showed there was and error with the Setup64.exe

Then I decided to go to the Silex web site and found a recent version of the Virtual Link software, which is the software the Belking control center is based on. Downloaded it, installed it (with no Belkin crapware installed whatsoever, remove everything Belkin first) and it runs 100%. I can see my printer with no issues. biggrin.gif party.gif

The link to the software page is this >>> http://www.silexamerica.com/support/software/svl.html

They have fairly updated versions for Win and Mac. I hope this helps.

HP psc1350 shows 'E' code when new toner cartridge is installed

you could use a belking usb network hub http://www.belkin.com/uk/networkusbhub/

This plugs into your router then you plug in your usb devices and hey presto, they can all be accessed by any computer on your network.

So I guess the answer is yes if you're accessing your network using wifi.

Zippy USB external hard disk case (2.5

I know this is an old thread, however if it helps any one try this:
Zippys power supply failed for me also. The problem here is your case support USB 2.0 ("A high speed USB device") and your port is only USB 1.1 ("plugged into a non-HI-SPEED usb hub"). This will not give adequate power to the drive. So use a y-cable (http://www.toshibadirect.com/images/ui3/accessories/toshiba-usb-y-cable-ba82010-300.gif) and connect one end to your casing and the two pins at the other end should be connected to two USB ports. (get it at http://www.toshibadirect.com/td/b2c/adet.to?poid=438342).
Another costlier way is to upgrade to USB 2.0 by a card like this http://www.belkin.com/support/download/download.asp?category=1&lang=1&mode=
or even better a USB 3.0 card : http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=lGYmelQ8mJvPtYTv
