Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
Dude, that x-clamp thing is a fix for the 3 red lights of death. There are no red lights on these x-boxes. I found a solution, tried it, and it apparently works. Unplug the A/V cable from the back of the xbox and clean the contacts. A q-tip fits into the cable end, but the socket on the xbox that it fits into is pretty small, so a knife blade wrapped in cloth or something is necessary. Played xbox poker for 45 minutes today after doing this.

A. Send it back to microsoft if it is still under warranty.
B. Look into the X-Clamp Fix that can be found at LLama.com
If that seems to be a little over your experience level check craiglist to see if there is a local person who can repair the xbox. Feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any more questions.
