My Epson 740 Color Printer won't print. I

Can you tell me exactly what is happening, is it not printing at all or is it printing but nothing on the paper? If its the first answer are you getting a message pop up on your computer? If its the second answer, have you tried cleaning the jets with Rubbing Alcohol and swabs? Also are the cartridges seated correctly, their are sensors on the cartridge that send a signal to the printer that it has ink.
