Re: Forward the yahoo emails to another account
First, click Options in the upper-right corner of your Mail page and select Mail Options. From the list on the left, click POP & Forwarding, then in the middle of the page click Set up or edit POP & Forwarding. In the bottom half of this page, click inside the circle next to "Forwarding". Then enter the email address in the blank and click "Save." Zing! – your mail now gets forwarded to that email address. Note: You can’t simultaneously Forward and POP your mail.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

You should be able to forward the email to whatever new email account she is using even if it is not her account. You need to know her her old and the new email address. Just where that is in a menu depends upon whether it is Outlook email, Yahoo email, Google Gmail, or whatever email services she is using. You just need to be sure you send it to her new email address and not all of her contacts. You will clearly see who it is going to in the TO: field.
But If she uses a Yahoo account you do not have to send anything. She can log into her email just by supplying her user name and password. Her mail is not on her computer but on a server on the internet. That is true if she uses gmail or hotmail.
If you Google "How to forward Yahoo email" (replacing Yahoo with whatever service she is using), you should get simple instructions of how to do the procedure.
Go to the settings on each of your gmail accounts and go to the forwarding tab. Forward each account to the yahoo account and then all of your mail from all accounts is consolidated into one, and you can remember one password, right? Let that be the account that is sent to your phone. As for keeping up with the passwords of those accounts long term, link them to your mobile phone so you can recover the passwords if you forget them. Google will verify your phone number as the recovery mobile for those account's passwords.
To get to settings in gmail, click the little cog, in the upper right hand corner below your account name.
If you want to keep all your different accounts emails in those inboxes as well as forward them, tick the box that says Keep copy in inbox, you also have the option of sending them to the trash box, which empties automatically every 30 days.
There is a way to automatically send emails sent to one email address to another.
If you want all your gmail to be sent to your yahoo mail, log on to your gmail account first, and then follow the instructions below:
To forward all new emails:
Click the gear in the top right.
Select the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.
Click Add a forwarding address in the "Forwarding" section.
Enter the email address you want to forward to.
For your security, we'll send a verification email to that address. Open your other email account and find the confirmation message from the Gmail team. If you're having trouble finding it, check your Spam folder.
Click the verification link in that email.
Back in your Gmail account, reload the page in your web browser - look for the reload icon .
Forwarding and POP/IMAP page in Settings, check thatForward a copy of incoming mail is selected and your email address is in the drop-down menu.
In the second drop-down menu, choose what you want Gmail to do with your messages after they're forwarded, such as keep Gmail's copy in the Inbox (recommended) or archive Gmail's copy.
You can obviously forward your emails to the other account; all you have to do is enabling of the forwarding message settings in your account. All you have to do is "click on settings":
If you are using gmail you will see "forwarding imap/pop or forwarding tab"; click on it you will have to enter the yahoo email address on which you want to forward the mails and then a verification code link will be sent to that email by clicking on which you will be able to forward the mails to yahoo.
If its outlook, you have to go for the "email forwarding tab" and enter the yahoo mail address on which you have to forward your mails and then a verification code link will be sent to that email by clicking on which you will be able to forward the mails to yahoo.
You also can set up filters
to forward messages that meet specific criteria. You can create 20
filters that forward to other addresses and can also maximize your filtered
forwarding by combining filters that send to the same address.
Hello and Welcome to FixYa!
Yes, your Yahoo account can recieve emails from your Windows Live Mail account (MSN). To do this you need to setup mail forwarding in your Windows Live Mail account. Please keep in mind that from free Windows Live Mail accounts, you can forward to other Windows Live Mail accounts only. Simply follow these steps to forward your mails to Yahoo:
Select Options > More options.
Click Forward mail to another e-mail account under Manage your account.
Make sure Forward your mail to another e-mail address is selected.
Type the email address to which you want Windows Live Hotmail to forward incoming mail in the text field.
Open the "Verify your e-mail address" you got at the target email address (Yahoo).
Follow the verification link.
Type the characters from the CAPTCHA image under Characters:.
And you are done!

Unfortunately, the only way to get native push email from Yahoo is with a Yahoo Plus! email account, which is $20 a year. However, a workaround solution would be to forward your incoming Yahoo mail to a Gmail account. That way, you will get all your Yahoo mail without having to pay for a Plus account. In your Yahoo Mail settings, go to Forward Email, and put in your Gmail account. Your should then receive your Yahoo mail on your HTC Hero.
if you have another account with yahoo or anybody else simply forward your mail to your other account the delete/close the current account...while your at it you may as well forward your address book to the same place
I use Outlook 2003 and sometimes have a similar problem with messages I forward. It only happens though with messages I receive in an account that is not my default account and which configuration (SMTP server, security, etc.) is different from the default account's. And it happens because Outlook forwards messages from the email account the message was received, not from the default email account. So if you have different accounts configured in Outlook, you might want to check the SMTP servers and security configurations of email accounts other the than default account (which seems to be OK since you can send emails). You can also direct Outlook to send your forward messages from your default account and not the account the resent message was addressed to. Hope this helps.
