Try using the owners manual to adjust the brightness and contrast controls. If this does not work,go the www.sony.com website and go to the support section. Put in the model number of your television and check the frequently asked question and troubleshooting sections for solutions to your problem or similar ones.If you cannot find the answer there, try using the customer service section and get help from them. I hope this helps you with your problem.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

The picture frame still scrolls pictures but the pictures are very dark and unable to be seen well. Is the frame ruined?

Hi, Don't put screen in direct sun light or bright light. Bright lights will destroy LCD screen. The LCD screen has some adjustments on back. You might be able to readjust picture brightness.
Good luck.
