Ok i'm looking for a list of solutions that may help me

Ok i'm looking for a list of drivers and maybe even a list of possible solutions that could help me fix my friends laptop. it keeps giving an error message and wants to be repaired before it will start the thing is it's not telling me what needs to be fixed so i'm completely dumbfounded and need advise if you have some for me please contact me at knothead_555_666@hotmail.com

p.s. she's running windows vista home premium(poop)

Has a code 016-302 and will not work


This error is almost always caused by a corrupt print job or driver. If the machine was working fine it may be as simple as canceling the print job and restarting everything (computer and printer).
Before sending the job to print again, it would be worthwhile to print a test page. If you can, you know the issue is specific to whatever you're trying to print. If you cannot, you know it's a most likely a driver issue.

Other possibilities:
- a recent OS update/upgrade killed the driver. This happened to a fair number of Windows 8 users.

-You're attempting to print from MAC but don't have the printer/driver setup for postscript. Weird but true, even in 2015 PCs and MACS still use different protocols to print to laser printers. (Not an issue for ink jets)

If this is the issue, here are the directions to setup the printer and MAC to work on your network. Notice the printer (wireless or not) should be wired for config-

PRINTER SETUP:
(1) Connect printer to the ethernet port
(2) On the controler of the printer, select menu
(3) with the cursors (down) select Admin Menu, and press ok (the center key)
(4) the text "wired network" will appear. Press OK
(5) Move the coursor down to tcp/ip. Press ok
(6) "get IP address" will appear. Press ok
(7) select panel. Press ok
(8) press "menu" and repeat (1) to (5)
(9) "get IP address" will appear. Move the cursor down to "IP Address". Press OK
(10) with the coursor select write the IP address among the margins of your Router. The Gateway numbers shlould be the same as the ip number of your router. MAsK is always 255.255.255.0
(11) press menu and restart the printer

IN YOUR MAC
(1)Install the 3110cn modules version 2.1.3 Build 5 (usually in the CD, or in DELL site download area)
(2) Open Setup Print Utility and select "Add a printer"
(3) Select IP printer (any of the possibilities you are offered are ok), WRITE THE ADDRESS YOU WROTE IN YOUR PRINTER
(4)In printing using select Dell

You can move the printer to wireless, just keep the IP address the same.

I have a Acer Extensa 5630, with windows xp running on it. There are two missing drivers Mobile Intel(R) 4 series Express Chipset Family and Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus. I have already tried...


After doing the Updates from Acer it is also necessary to follow with Windows Updates as well. Windows Updates is where you will find the Audio Bus Drivers. And possibly the most current Compatible Chipset Drivers for XP. If there are no Updates available for you to Install, Then we will manually update the drivers through Device Manager if needed. Click the folllowing link for Windows Updates Website. BE SURE TO CHOOSE THE "CUSTOM" OPTION. After the scan completes and the results are listed, Look at the LEFT PANE under HARDWARE as well as SOFTWARE Results. Put a Check Mark next to any that appear in those two sections. OK?

ALSO, I have One More question to ask you. When you downloaded the Drivers from the Acer Website, did you download the files to the Desktop? If so, Prior to double clicking on the Icon to begin installing, You MUST do the following: 1) Take your mouse and right click on the icon. 2) click on Properties (at bottom) 3) after the Properties Window opens, Click on the "UNLOCK" button. 4) click APPLY & OK to close window. Do this for EACH DOWNLOAD before installing.
NOW YOU ARE READY TO DOUBLE CLICK ON THE ICON AND BEGIN INSTALLING SOFTWARE. IN FACT, MAYBE YOU SHOULD BEGIN WITH THIS FIRST, and if they still don't work, follow with the other suggestions at the top of this page.. OK? GREAT LUCK & PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO RATE MY SOLUTION.. Thank You :)

I have sent you this list of codes and possible solutions for this ok?
Code 10 loadTOCNode(2, 'moreinformation'); If the device has a "FailReasonString" value in its hardware key, that string is displayed as the error message. The driver or enumerator places this registry string value there. If there is no "FailReasonString" in the hardware key, the following generic error message is displayed:
This device is either not present, not working properly, or does not have all the drivers installed. (Code 10)

Try upgrading the device drivers for this device.
Solution button: Update Driver

To resolve this error code, make sure the device is connected to the computer correctly. For example, make sure all cables are plugged in fully and that all adapter cards are properly seated. Follow the suggested solution button and update the device driver. It may be possible to remove the device and redetect it using the Add New Hardware wizard.

Scanner will not save to computer, states it needs device software


Hello there:
please go to www.hewittpackard.com and search for your printer make and model number than search for driver downloads ok and if this doesn't help go to www.radarsync.com this is a free driver update and install utility that scans and will give you a list of all of the drivers that are out of date and need updating and it will update them free for you it can even get the drivers for things that you dont have cd rom setup disk for like printers/mice/keyboards/webcams ect.ect.ect ok so please give these solutions a try and please keep me informed on how this is going there is more i can do if needed. plese also dont forget to rate the solutions i have provided for you.

You can go to the manufacture of the radio's www.audiovox.com and just look for your make and model and try to get it there.
Or you might try radio shack, and maybe even ebay ok?

New printer not recognized?


Hi,

Here two causes are possible first your driver that you installed is not insralled properly so turn off your computer, reboot, delete HP Photosmart C4480... driver from the printer list icon and install again properly.(if you will not get the right solution of your problem then try the next step)

Second your U.S.B. cable maybe faulty so change your U.S.B. cable.(if you will not get the right solution of your problem then try the next step)

Third your U.S.B. port of computer is faulty so cahnge the port(many computer have more then one U.S.B. port if you have so try one(if you will not get the right solution of your problem then try the next step)

and

after this all you try your installation on other machine.

I hope you will get your problem solution.

These are the solutions that I found for you. Personally, I think that you need to update your drivers, but wanted to offer you more than one solution.

Adjust printer settings

Click Start , click Settings, and then click Printers.
Right-click the icon (picture) of the printer.
Click Properties .
In the Properties dialog box, click the Details tab.
Look for the text Print using the following driver .
Under Print using the following driver , verify that the name of the printer is listed.
Click the Color or Color Management tab.
Click Automatic .
Click the Setup tab. If you do not see a Setup tab, click the Device Options tab. If you do not see a Device Options tab, click the Details tab, and then click the Setup button.
Locate the text Print Quality .
For Print Quality, choose Best or Presentation .

Look for the text Paper Type , Media , or Media Choice . If you do not see any of these options, click the Paper tab.
Click in the box under Paper Type , Media , or Media Choice .
In the list that pops up, choose the type of paper or film you are using.
Under Photo Paper printing , choose PhotoREt .
PhotoREt is available only if you have chosen HP brand paper under Paper Type. If you don't have a PhotoREt option, look for the text ICM . If you see ICM , click in its checkbox to add a checkmark, and click OK .
If you see a tab called Advanced , look for text Saturation , Brightness , and Color Tone .
Move the sliders next to Saturation , Brightness , and Color Tone to adjust these settings. If you cannot find these settings, click the Graphics tab and then click the Color button. Choose the options that match the type of document you are printing.
Click OK .
Close the Printers window.
Open the software application that you were using to print.
Try printing.

If this does not work, try updating your drivers or uninstalling and reinstalling your printer software.

Logitech open air no audio!


Friend there are two possible solutions that i can suggest:
1) Maybe you don't have an updated antivirus on your computers
so a part of your driver maybe corrupted.
A possible solution is to install an updated antivirus program if you do not not have any or update it to your antivirus company's web site if you have already. After doing this reinstall your driver for your sound card. Then there you go.
2) Maybe you are not using a sound card (it is recommended that you use a soundcard to have the best sound). If you do not have one you'll need to buy one. After doing this repeat my solution number 1).
