I hv upgraded my lenovo Y500 laptop to window7 from window xp. but its easy button for volume is not working now. plz help me or send me easy button driver for window7

Hello paramveertan, go to this "Website" choose the "Audio Drivers" from the [List].
Even though you "Upgraded from XP to Win7 the "Drivers are not Supported by Win 7."
Your "System still need 'supported' (XP) Audio Drivers.
Scroll [down] to find the {Audio Drivers}, click on it, and you'll be able to "Download the Drivers" you need.

Attention! If you are still having "problems? Try the following:
  • Click on the "Start Button," in the (right pane) select the Control Panel.
  • Next, in the category listings, select Hardware and Sound.
  • Open, and click on the "Manage Sound Devices."
  • The Sound window will open; click on the "Playback" button.
  • There should be a Speakers Icon, click on it, look below, and 'click' the "Properties button.
  • In the next window there will be (4) four buttons: "General, Level...
  • First, click on the "General" button, in the top of the window there will be a "Driver" button, click on that button to open.
  • Select to "Update Driver," just click on it, the Drivers will be updated for you.
  • Next you can go back and press the other areas, Speaker Level etc...
  • Now, if you have a "MIC" do the same for the Microphone as you done for (Speakers) in the [Recording] category.
  • Note: "Remember to click on the "Apply and OK buttons
If this solution helped?, Give a Thumbs-Up please! Thanks, paul7of9

I have a Acer Extensa 5630, with windows xp running on it. There are two missing drivers Mobile Intel(R) 4 series Express Chipset Family and Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus. I have already tried...

After doing the Updates from Acer it is also necessary to follow with Windows Updates as well. Windows Updates is where you will find the Audio Bus Drivers. And possibly the most current Compatible Chipset Drivers for XP. If there are no Updates available for you to Install, Then we will manually update the drivers through Device Manager if needed. Click the folllowing link for Windows Updates Website. BE SURE TO CHOOSE THE "CUSTOM" OPTION. After the scan completes and the results are listed, Look at the LEFT PANE under HARDWARE as well as SOFTWARE Results. Put a Check Mark next to any that appear in those two sections. OK?

ALSO, I have One More question to ask you. When you downloaded the Drivers from the Acer Website, did you download the files to the Desktop? If so, Prior to double clicking on the Icon to begin installing, You MUST do the following: 1) Take your mouse and right click on the icon. 2) click on Properties (at bottom) 3) after the Properties Window opens, Click on the "UNLOCK" button. 4) click APPLY & OK to close window. Do this for EACH DOWNLOAD before installing.

Need driver for Matsushita dvd-ram UJ831S

Here is how I would recover the old driver in WINDOW XP.

Open My Computer, Point the mouse cursor to the DVD-RAM drive, select, Right Mouse Click, go down along the submenu list to PROPERTIES.
Click .
Look for thumbnail HARDWARE Click, a window opens that list all the drives in your computer, Select the Matshita and press the button PROPERTIES at the bottom of the window
Select the thumbnail DRIVER
Click the button ROLLBACK DRIVER then OK.

Windows will try to restore the driver you had before you made the update.

The above solution supposes that you see a drive when you explore the computer, and that you are not talking about the FIRMWARE.

If the drive is not working properly, you may not be able to see it when you click My Computer. In that case go to Desktop, Point to my computer icon, right click , select Properties and click. Select thumbnail HARDWARE then Button Device Manager. You will see a list of all the hardware. Look for DVD/CD-Rom drives,
Click the + to expand the tree. You will see your drive possibly with a yellow exclamation point.

Select the drive, right click the mouse, choose uninstall and validate.

Next time you boot, Windows will attempt to reinstall (hopefully) the right driver.

Hope it helps

I cannot enable my wireless adapter

My suggestion would be to uninstall SP1 if the wireless driver update does not work and wait until a later time to reinstall SP1 since it is apparent the problem occurred with the SP1 update. I'm surprised the HP Recovery didn't resolve it - unless it wasn't taken back to to Factory Default - which would be extreme as you would loose all data, software and updates.

Drivers not found.

Your Compaq came with Vista installed. Finding drivers for XP Pro with SP2 seem to be very troublesome. Somewhere HP Compaq has these drivers for you laptop. If you call them & they find out you bought XP Pro they will not support you in finding the proper drivers for XP Pro. How ever you can call & ask what it will cost for a recovery CD for XP Pro w/SP2.
Click the link to Compaq & listed is your laptop & what software & drivers are listed. If you need other drivers that are not listed, post what you want I'll try & find them for you. Please be as detailed as possible.
You may find some here.
