Formating?? how to reformat my 1G kingston memory card????

In My Computer - Right click and format.

reformat it. on you computer you see different drives select yours, right click and select format.

How did you format the memory card?
If you used the computer this maybe the problem, new computers will use a file system called FAT32, cameras do not like this, they prefer FAT.
Try reformatting the memory card using the camera, this should rectify the issue.

Next, right click on the icon that represents your card (this will be easily recognizable by looking at the capacity of the drive, it should be around 1.6-1.8 GB) and select "Format...". Format your drive using the recommended settings (usually FAT32, Quick Format) and you should be able to access it.

are you getting a format error? the card (if new) should be "ready" already. also you may want to verify in your owners manual that the phone can handle a 4 gig card.

Just copy the data of memory card to PC. Now format the card and send the data back to card from PC. It will help you.

If you have a card reader, install the card and use "My Computer" to select that drive and "Format". Otherwise sometimes the device you are using the card in will have that option in it's settings.

if you did not change or put any password, just try to use the generic password as 000000 or 123456, if you can connect your phone to the pc, try to download all your files from the memory card to the pc and reformat your mem card

Once you reformat the memory card, transfer those photos back to the memory card using the computer.
