Question about Minolta magicolor 2400W Laser Printer

I refilled the black cartridge on my Konica Minolta 2400W. According to the directions, I am just supposed to go to the Konica Minolta 2400W Utility and do a couple of things so the light indicating I need more balck toner will go out. Problem is I don't HAVE the Utility it speaks of and haven't been able to find it to download. Anyone able to help? Also my print settings are in Spanish - so what I need might be there but I don't speak Spanish... Thanks for any help anyone can offer!

Hi,
I bought my toner from tonerifillkits.com, and they said nothing about using some utility to clear the error light. They talk about replacing the "toner out chip", but, as far as I can see, the black cartridge doesn't have one! Could your guys be talking about a feature of the printer software (what used to be called printer toolbox) that was supposed to come with the printer? You may be able to dnld the "printer toolbox" from the Konica site. Also, where did you get your toner/instructions? I am trying to get clarification on refilling my black cartridge, or, as Konica calls it, the drum cartridge.

The possible reason for error is the printer does notread chip on the cartridges.
The reader for chips locate inside the printer bottom ofcartridges.
Take out all cartridges and you see reader it is a small blackplastic which come three contact plates.
Just clean it with compressed air and take out if some contactplate is sedentary.

Konica minolta 2400w....lines verticle in all prints...what do i have to replace or clean to fix this problem
check its cartridge if lines are on the drum then replace the drum unit, if drum is clean then replace only the toner.

Unfortunately you have to replace the chip or to reset it after the toner refill. The chip keeps count of the number of pages that was printed with that toner, so there is no easy way out.

Magicolor 2400w color low. how to allow printing in black without need to replace the color toner? I mean, i only need to print in black only so at the moment i can ignore the color low warning.
its not possible as whast u required.because all the cartridges should be shown full for printing whether you use the colour or dont use.
but you can get your cartridges refilled at any local stationery shop or at the local refilling center.
and this will not cost u as new cartridges.its exactly less then half cost of new cartridges.

Konica Minolta Magicolor 2400W drum cartrige-how to replace?
Did you buy a whole new drum unit, or just change the cartridge? If so, the fuse may still be blown. Also, you may need to empty the spent toner out of the old cartridge.

Magicolor 2400W print fades on right side of page
Have you tried cleaning the leans at the bottom of the printer? Open the cover, pull out the drum. Under it is a long, narrow piece of glass. If it gets dusty or toner accumulates on it, it will cause streaks in the printing. If this is dirty, take a clean, soft cloth and very gently wipe it off.

To clear chip after refilling toner cartriage.
Go to "Tonerfillyourself.com" I bought refill toner and it includes a new chip and it's not hard to replace it. (Comes with instructions)
