Hi Hector, my name is Cheri Torres with DISH Network Customer Service. When you say your receiver is not getting signal do you mean it has a DISH Network error message on it such as 015 or 002 or does the screen actually say "no signal". You are going to want to check all cabling, make sure that all of them are connected and screwed in tightly on the back of the receiver leading to the TV and to the wall. Once you have checked all the cabling you are going to want to perform a hard reset by unplugging the receiver for ten seconds from the wall outlet. If both options do not work for you I would like you to contact me so that I can assist you further with this issue. You can email me at Cheri.Torres@Dishnetwork.com with your account information and I will be happy to help. Thanks and have a great day!

Hi Mary with Dish Network Customer Service. Are you getting an error message? One of the easiest fixes for signal issues is to reset the receiver box (Unplug the power cord for 10 seconds, then let it reboot). You might want to check all the cable connections from where the Satellite comes into the room and up to the receiver box. I hope this solves your issue but if you are still having issues, please let me know! Have a great day!
What are you getting on your TV 1 screen? Are you getting 015, acquiring satellite signal or weak or no signal, blue/black screen or snowy screen? Each of these problems requires certain troubleshooting steps. For the 015 message, a component from the Dish to the receiver may be bad. It could be weather related. For the other problems, the TV may not be on the correct input setting or channel. If you can provide more information, I would be happy to assist you.
well, firstly. u have a sat finder!! great!! now lets see if i can teach u how to use it, when you hook it up there will always be some sort of signal, (other electronic waves in the air) the best way to check is to put ur hand in front of the LNB (the square box in front of the dish) if he signal goes down, the signal was fine to begin with, if it goes up, the dish is out, if nothing happens... dead LNB, which in my experiance, the most likely cause, dont for get to reset your decoder once you have solved the problem.. good luck
do you have antenna or cable? if you have antena hook directly to the coax, go to menu, TV, tuner and pick antenna and scan. If you have cable hook directly to your coax repeat the previous step but pick cable instead of antenna. Notice if you have a cable box, you will not need to scan for channel since it will be on channel 3, 4 or any other input you may use.
If the blue light on the receiver is on then your tv is most likely on the wrong channel after checking cabeling i would do a reset on receiver first wait for it to come back on, then run a channel scan on your tv2 you can do this with orignal tv remote under the menu options. its also refered to as a auto search or auto program.
