I currently have the same problem. I had Sears come to my home and they said it was the circuit board. It's located in the bottom rear corner of the machine and held in by 2 screws and 2 electrical plugs that come out easy. The part number on my board is 131770700 and I found 3 "repaired/used" on Ebay. I bought mine for $56.

Apparently Kenmore/Frigidaire has had trouble with this part and they have revamped the part and it has a new number if buying a new one. I didn't want to sink any more money into my washer so I am going the cheap route.

LET ME SEE IF I CAN HELP. THERE SHOULD BE A HARDWARE STORE THAT CARRIES THOSE ITEMS. IF NOT, THEN CALL THE MANUFACTURE OF THE WASHER AND SEE HOW MUCH A NEW PIEC WILL COSTT. MY E MAIL ADDRESS IS: CoolRod41@yahoo.com. GOOD LUCK AND IF YOU HAVE ANYMORE QUESTIONS, I WILL TRY TO ANSWER THEM IF I KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. GOOD LUCK.

Electrolux washing machine wont spin all the way

Not a solution, but I wonder if it thinks you've either selected no spin or it thinks the machine isn't drained and so won't spin or it thinks the load is unbalanced. You seem to have done everything logical so far.
Also look at all all connectors
Logic seems to dictate that if the motor/motor drive functionality and other diagnostics don't show any problems (although I must admit if it were possible I'd like to try another motor control board just to convince me it wasn't implicated) then it must be a logic/ sensor problem and maybe diagnostic mode doesn't check all sensors in the same way as would happen in normal use? Sorry I can't be of more help. (The motor brushes are probably ok but I'd check them anyway while you are in there) Do let us know if you find anything.

Clunking/thumping with spin cycle, reduces as spin speed increase

It's hard to tell without looking at the washer. But my first response would be that the transmission is wearing out. Inside the plastic cover for the adgitator is a metal drive stem. This assembly has a pulley on the bottom where your motor attaches to; inside the bottom of your washer. It is quite common after many years that these go bad. Have you ever noticed unexplained grease or other stains on your clothes after they came out of the wash?

Does anyone know how to change the default spin speed

LE usually means a loose connection to the stator assembly/hall sensor, or very well could be a bad hall sensor (RPM sensor). I would definitely, call for service if your getting this LE error.

You could remove your back panel, four screws, and check the connections, to your stator, this is behind the big metal wheel you see in front, called the rotor. The bottom of the stator, you'll see two plugs, make sure those are connected, ones for power to the stator, and the other is the power for the hall sensor. Make sure these are plugged in firmly.

Also, you can remove the top lid of your washing machine, two screws on the back of the lid, bottom part of the bracket that is there. Slide the lid back (sometimes firmly). Once removed, check the display control board, and make sure all those plugs are firmly connected too.

Machine fills, adgitates, but doesn't drain and spin.

that means your motor is not reversing to drain or spin , your motor turns 1 way to agitate and the other way to drain and spin ,motor could be out on 1 side

GE® 3.5 Cu. Ft. King-size Capacity Washer will not spin/adgitate

I would check the lid switch. On many machines there is no motion at all if the lid is up. If the switch is bad it may not realize the lid is down and nothing will happen after the machine fills. You can try a web search for how to test or replace the lid switch for your specific model. There are also several appliance repair sites with how-to procedures as well as parts. It's not too difficult to change the switch yourself on most washers.

My machine will just stop after the adgitate cycle.

Manually turn the knob to the spin cycle and turn it on.
If it does not spin, replace the lid switch.

If it does spin, replace the timer.

Washing machine stains clothes

You can pull the agitator straight up and off to check if there is any grease / oil on the bottom of it. You may have to use a belt or similar item to slip under the agitator and attach the other end to a broom handle to pull up if it is difficult to remove. If there is grease / oil, it is not very easy or inexpensive to repair. The average life of a washer is about 9 years, so this one doesn't owe you anything. I'd look into a new front load unit which uses much less water and spins clothes out at 2X or more the RPM's of your current machine. Please don't rate this solution as anything but a FixYa rating will lower my overall score. Thanks.

Front load washer wont spin

Open the rear panel and look for a broken belt and does the motor spins. In case motor doesn't spin, check on its tags for 115/220V. Let me know with your results, for further assistance if will be needed. Good luck!
