Will not spin or adgitate

I think it might be the speed control but i'm not sur. the speed control part costs $160.00 locally does anyone know where to get used parts?

I currently have the same problem. I had Sears come to my home and they said it was the circuit board. It's located in the bottom rear corner of the machine and held in by 2 screws and 2 electrical plugs that come out easy. The part number on my board is 131770700 and I found 3 "repaired/used" on Ebay. I bought mine for $56.

Apparently Kenmore/Frigidaire has had trouble with this part and they have revamped the part and it has a new number if buying a new one. I didn't want to sink any more money into my washer so I am going the cheap route.

check out for your capacitor.......if your capacitor is having problem your machine cant take heavy duty or loads :-)

Clunking/thumping with spin cycle, reduces as spin speed increase

It's hard to tell without looking at the washer. But my first response would be that the transmission is wearing out. Inside the plastic cover for the adgitator is a metal drive stem. This assembly has a pulley on the bottom where your motor attaches to; inside the bottom of your washer. It is quite common after many years that these go bad. Have you ever noticed unexplained grease or other stains on your clothes after they came out of the wash?

Anyone know how to use and program a SIMA universal remote SUR-20?

On the philips universal remote, i just hit code search til light was steady, then hit tv, and hit channel up til it found the freQ then hit ok! problem solved. But my sima remote! it is touch screen and contols everything but the WIFE! i cant find any codes online for my electronics, and it is a fancy bugger model # SUR-20 AND HAS A Batch # as well 8188 its made in taiwan, and im thinking about shipping it back to them, along with a grenade! LOL

Heater fan only works on the high setting. Do I need to replace the far, or is there a balast resistor of some sort in the citcut? And where is it on the car? I have not gotten any good information from...

the fan motors are only one speed. The switch controlling the speed is what will need to be replaced I beleieve. Try running air condition and see if that has variable speed.

My machine will just stop after the adgitate cycle.

Manually turn the knob to the spin cycle and turn it on.
If it does not spin, replace the lid switch.

If it does spin, replace the timer.

Speed sensor.

you can'trepair the speed sensor it has to be replaced. you can get the part at a local auto parts store like Napa or Oreillys don't get it at a dealership because it will cost you twice as much if not more... please rate this thanks
