Question about HP Pavilion Laptop RM-70 Notebook
Sporatically over the past weeks, my fairly new laptop doesn't allow sound from the speakers. The orange "mute" button on the touch pad will not go off. I can go into the volume mixer, turn the mute button off, but the orange button is still lit and the speakers still don't work.
Headphones work fine though.
Please help if possible.
Hello my name is ArmyMason, I would try a system restore. This can be found in the start menu under All programs, Accessory, system tools, System Restore. Go back before the date your computer was giving you issues. If this doesn't resolve the issue, I would attempt to reinstall the Drivers. Your Manufacturer website will provide you with the correct drivers. If that solution doesnt resolve the issue, it could be a hardware issue and I would suggest returning the laptop to the store you bought it from.

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
