Many of Sears oilfree compressors were made by Devilbiss. Try going to this address and enter your sears part numbers. (example cac-4281 for valve plate) They will most likely have the parts that you need. Good luck and email if you have other questions about your conpressor.

Devilbiss air compressor Running hot and low pressure

Sounds to me like you have an air leak somewhere. When the compressor motor runs for too long a time, it's 'gonna get hot! Disconnect the fittings one at a time and use Teflon tape at each air connection. Check for leaks using a soap and water solution at each fitting.

Need a manual for my air compressor #15310

Hi jhuson396,

Welcome to fixya!

You will need to supply more information, like the Brand name of your air compressor and a complete model number. I did a search and found that Sears carries several air compressors with that model number under the Craftsman name. Is this the correct brand? Also, Sears model numbers are in the sequence ***.xxxxxxx and so forth, always 3 numbers a dot and then the rest of the numbers.

Please reply back with that information and I'll be happy to assist you.

I have a 1HP/7 1/2 gal. Craftman air compressor( about 20 years old). I was using it to spray paint lawn chairs. The compressor stopped. I was to use it the next morning but for only a short time and it...

1) Check that it is not already at full pressure
2) Check that you have power coming in to the switch (20 year old power cord)
3) Bypass the switch and, briefly, plug it in.
4) Look for a fuse or breaker.
5) With the motor leads disconnected from the switch, check that you have resistance across the motor (0 ohms would be bad).

If you are not comfortable doing any part of this, don't. Check with friends & neighbors for a reputable local appliance repair company.

I have three compressors. Two are oiless and I

It's hard to say what you did to it. The only way to know is to take it apart. As for whether it's worth it or not. You will have to answer that after you see how much damage there is.However I can help with the parts you will need. Click the link below for a list of the available parts for your compressor. I can also tell you there is really not many parts to the pump motor assembly.
I really hope this helps.

15 gal. oiless compressor make louod banging noise when turned on, sounds like thrown rod in motor.

The noise really depends on what type of pump compressor motor you have but a lot depends on that.

If you click the link below and scroll though the list for your model, you should be able to find a parts diagram and replacement parts.

If you can't find it please let me know and include the model # you have and I'll find you a diagram.
Hope this helps.

Air compressor head gasket diagram

Campbell hausfeld has all their manuals on line at / you can enter the model # of the whole unit or just the # of the pump. Also you can enter just a partial number example wl650 for a list of models is that range. Use caution when installing gaskets for chpower oiless pumps. Some of their gaskets are very brittle. After installing parts, turn pump by hand to make sure all parts are in their proper place and that there is suction. Enjoy
