did u try to disconect the cut off switch to see if it is doing the same . and if u keep the starting button in does the starter keep running along

I don't know the CRF 450X, but my Helix had a solenoid that shut off the gas automatically when the ignition was turned off, and did the same when the wire came off the solenoid. Sometimes those solenoids fail, too, and replacing them is the only option. If the wiring is good (test it first!!!) you can tell a bad solenoid by holding your hand on it and turning the ignition on and off. If you don't feel a thump, it's bad.

The carb has a bypass that allows the throttle to squirt fuel into the carb when you roll on the throttle. That will get the bike to start even if the fuel solenoid has blocked the main flow. Then, of course, the bike dies as soon as the fuel from the accelerator pump is gone.

Other possibilities include sludge in the tank, a plugged fuel filter, or too much water in the gas. If any of those happen, StarTron can sometimes eat the sludge and nutralize the water and get you going. I like SeaFoam a lot but StarTron works better for me.

No. Honda has a very crafty way of making two different models look like they have parts that will interchange, when - in reality - they are totally different. That goes for not only the major components like frames, but for nearly every part, on nearly every model. Very little in the way of parts interchangeability.

Remove impeller using a 10mm socket. It is a standard thread so nothing special needs to be done.get back to me if need more info

My advice dont do it your self the new crf motors are quite complicated and unless you are experienced i wouldnt attemp it.
