Question about Insignia IS-LCDTV32 32 in. Television
When I turn on the television, I see a picture for about 2 min. then the screen goes black with a line through the center. I hear the program, see the lights change as the show is on, but no picture.
You may take a strong flashlight and place it against the dark areas of the screen and look around the edge of the light. If you can see an image moving around, it is still being 'displayed' on the entire screen.
If its still there, it looks like an Inverter/CCFT problem. If the image is 'gone' or compressed into a single 'line' it may be the LCD controller (TCON) with a 'heat' or intermittent problem.
You may try a fan blowing on the vents on the TV to see it runs longer without going bad.
