Question about Canon PowerShot A75 Digital Camera

1 Answer

A75 view finder and pictures--pinkish hues or distorted pictures

The pictures started having a pink slashes throughout and then progressed to the viewfinder image so distorted as to not be able to recognized a scene. I called Canon (free tech call) and there was a problem with the CCD image sensor. You can send in your camera (free shipping) for evaluation and if the sensor is the problem they will fix it for no charge and send the camera back FX (will require signature). If it is not the sensor, they will determine if it can be repaired, give you an estimate and you can decide if you want them to do the work or just send the camera back.
