ok so you already established the optical connection from your TV to the hometheater system right? then follow these steps:
*first get look for any PRE-OUT terminal at the back of the amplifier
*get two rca cables (red and white to be color coded) and stick it to the PRE-OUT terminals of the amp.
*then get an adapter that will allow you to connect the headphones to the other end of the RCA cables (i think its available at radio shack).
*make sure that your headphones have volume adjusters. because the volume level on the PRE-OUT is fixed and cannot be adjusted using the amp. the only way to adjust it is by adjusting the volume level on the headphones. ü
after this you should be good to go...TC!
