I need to download the software 1.33 WEGA camera built in my laptop acer 5570

YOU need to download a software called PICASA and it will work well in your pc webcam

The Acer OrbiCam is a built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam mounted at the top of certain Acer laptops. The webcam can record video clips and integrate with instant messaging software. If you are trying to use your Acer OrbiCam but it won't connect, the driver--a small software file that tells the webcam what to do--may be outdated. Acer provides webcam driver update pages for the Aspire 9300 and Aspire 5570 versions.

1.Go to the Acer 5570 or Acer 9300 Driver Download page (see Resources).
2.Click "MS Windows XP" or "MS Windows Vista" on the drop-down menu, depending on your operating system.
3.Select "Acer OrbiCam Bison Driver" from the menu.
4.Click "Save File > OK" and wait for it to download.
5.Double-click on the downloaded setup files to install the driver.
6.Go back to the Acer Downloads page, and select "Acer OrbiCam Driver Bison Utility 1.0.0.13" from the drop-down menu.
7.Click on "Save File > OK" and wait for it to download. Double-click on the downloaded setup files to install the driver.
8.Restart the computer.

The Acer camera will only initialize if it's proprietary software is running. I believe Acer uses Crystal Eye. Below is the support site for Acer, put in Notebook > aspire > 5500 and your operating system. Scroll down to the Crystal Eye webcam software, download and install. If there are any patches or upgrades, get them too. If you have the software and it has been loaded. The camera has a blue light that shines next to the camera to indicate it is powered. If it does not shine and the software has been initiated, then there might be a problem with the cable that runs from the camera down the right side of the display, through the right hinge and under the keyboard to the socket in the motherboard. I will include the link to the service manual as well, this will help if you have to disassemble or test the laptop.

1. Check the device manager to see if there is a conflict.
2. Reinstall the driver
3. Special Note: Acer actually put 3 different brands of cameras in that model. So, if the laptop or manual doesn't tell you which one was installed in your particular machine, you may need to install each of the three drivers one at a time to see which one registers and gets the camera working.
4. Just in case you were interested as I would be... Acer does not consider this laptop to be Windows 7 ready.

uninstall device in device manager,restart ,if computer automatically finds new hardware cancel it,go to the acer support web site and download necessary software and drivers for vista ,and install according to instructions

FN + F10 should get the camera to power up. Then for the software it should be start>programs/accessories>BisonCam PC camera menu. Go to options and select Take Picture..that's the latest info I have on it. If that is not correct and the software has changed for Acer then let me know and I'll find out what the latest is..if you have any further questions let me know.
